Ross smiled as he spoke. How she loved him. They had just met that morning, and she wanted to be with him forever. Looking into Connor's eyes, she fell deeper and farther in love than she could have ever imagined before in her life. Love was a strange thing, and she was happy that it had happened to her. As they kissed, no one else was in the room with them. Just her and Connor. She wanted it to be like that always, however it couldn't. She watched as he licked his lips and she blushed deeply. Hearing him speak, she blushed and grinned. He thought she was adorable. And it made her happy. Ross looked at the food and took her fork, taking a bit slowly. She made sure not to be impolite and slurp her spaghetti like she had no manners. No, she ate the delicious food like a perfect young woman.
Taking her glass, she sipped on it. 'Could be a little sweeter....but it's good.' she thought, silently eating a little. After a few moments, she wiped her mouth gently, making sure not to smudge her lipstick. “Tell me more about you....do you like animals? Like...cats?” she asked. She wanted him to like cats, since she had two of them in her apartment. Slowly, she smiled softly. “And...after this would you....like to come to my place? To watch a movie? If not, that's ok.” she said nervously. She took another bite of the spaghetti and smiled. It was really good. He had picked the best place to eat ever.

--------------------------------------------------------- --Smiling, he twirled his fork around the noddles, taking a bite of spaghetti. His taste buds exploded, savoring the great taste. Swallowing, he washed down the amazing pasta with sour lemonade, almost making a foul looking face that would match the sour taste. Definitely needed some sugar, he thought, his eyes almost watering.
After taking another bite and swallowing, he wiped his mouth with the clothe napkin, smearing red sauce on the white napkin. Grinning, he nodded. "I like every animal, especially cats," he answered, but then quickly added, "Except for rats. Can't stand them." He remembered visiting one of his friends one day. It didn't go well, Connor getting bit by a rat. No, Connor seriously hated rats. Grinning, he listened to Ross. His heart skipped a beat, hearing Ross ask him to go back to her apartment. "I would be honored to," He answered, smiling at Ross, his gaze resting on her sparkling eyes. How he loved her amazing eyes, and it seemed that they always seemed to have a sparkle. "Gosh Ross, you are so beautiful. It's breathe taking," he whispered, grinning.

Ross continued eating as he spoke. So he especially liked cats. That was wonderful news for Ross. Wiping her mouth again, she smiled happily. “Then you get to meet Nero and Dante. They are my cats.” she said. Shivering slightly, she nodded her head. “Eh, some rodents are all right in my eyes. Rats...no....definitely not....unless you count the rat in the movie Ratatouille....he is ok...cause....he is in a movie...and he is....animated....umm...” she felt like she was a rambling child, talking about a child's movie. Blushing slightly, she looked back outside before her gaze went to Connor again. Her heart fluttered as he agreed to go to her apartment. This made her excited. All Ross knew was that she didn't want Connor to leave her site for the time being. She was scared that this was all just a dream. Something she would wake up in the morning and find out that none of it happened at all.
He complimented on how beautiful she looked, whispering to her. This made her blush and smile. He had that wonderful effect on her. She looked into his eyes and smiled. “And you are handsome....I am so happy you and I found each other...” she said softly, her voice gentle and sweet. She tilted her head and smiled. “Have I told you I loved you already? Because that is all I want to do is tell you how much I love you...even if we did just meet this morning.” she said.
And she would say 'I love you' again and again to Connor Knight, for the rest of her life.

--------------------------------------------------------- --He grinned, somehow he knew that Ross would own some sort of pet, but his bet was on a cat. She just seemed like the girl to love soft purring animals. Connor nodded in agreement, sharing the same feeling with Ross. He just really hated rats, even if they were considered pets. But the animated rat was fine, as long as it didn't jump out and bite him.
Seeing Ross blush made his smile. He was falling in love with the soft flush of color on her cheeks. And he wasn't afraid to admit it. When she complimented him, it was his turn to blush, warmth growing on his defined cheek bones. When she said she loved him again, it made his heart flutter with joy. He prayed that he would hear her say those words for the rest of his life. Sighing with joy, he whispered to Ross, "I don't know if it's normal to fall in love this quickly," Pausing, he looked down on his hands for a moment before looking back up at Ross. "But I know that I have fallen head over heels in love with you, Ross," Grinning, he lightly squeezed her warm hand.

The young girl smiled as she watched Connor as he smiled while she blushed. But she loved it so much when he blushed. Made her heart flutter more than it had already been doing. She listened to him speak, getting worried as he told her that he didn't know if it was normal to fall in love so quickly. But that worry ended when he told her how he had fallen head over heels for her. She grinned, her eyes sparkling happily. “And I have fallen head over heels for you as well, my love. I want nothing more than to spend forever with you. Even if some will say it is too fast.” she said to him, squeezing his hand back and staring deeply into his eyes. She meant every word she told him. Ross wanted to be by Connor's side forever.
She smiled at Connor. “You know...I...actually wrote a song earlier today before our date.....and...it is dedicated to you....when we get to my apartment I could sing it for you.” she said lovingly. Thinking about her cats, she knew they would love him just as much as she did. But the only ones she worried about were her brother's. Especially Archer. She blinked slightly, taking her fork and eating the last of her food. Ross was definitely full. Smiling softly to Connor, she waited for him to finish his plate. During this time, she reflected back on the day. She had met the most wonderful man in the planet. And they began dating the first day they met. Life was so good to her right now. Ross wanted it to stay that way too.

It was simply magic. As Ross told him that she wrote a song for him, he chuckled. Ross never failed to impress him. "I can't wait to hear it, darling." It was true, and he knew that the song would be amazing, since Ross wrote it. Taking the last bite, Connor wiped away any trace of red sauce on his lips. He looked at Ross, seeing a tiny dot of spaghetti sauce on her chin. Grinning, he gently wiped away the sauce with his napkin, chuckling. She was so cute, it melted his heart.
Connor stood up, stretching out his long legs, then holding out his hand for Ross to take it. At the same time, he fished out the money for dinner and set it on the table, giving the waitress no tip. She did not deserve it, in Connor's eyes. "Ready to go, love?" He asked, smiling. Excitement fluttered in his stomach at the possibility of seeing where Ross lived, and of course, spending more time with her. He would always savor the time he spent with such an amazing girl, and he hoped that he would continue to do so throughout his entire life. Connor couldn't fathom not being with Ross, it would leave a gaping hole in his heart that nobody could repair but Ross. No, Rosslyn Mary Newlanders would always have a place in his heart, the first love of his life.

Her heart was a fluttering mess after all was said and done. How could one person have such an effect on another as Connor Payton Knight has accomplished that night? Ross didn't know, but all she could say was he was hers. And that is how she wanted it to stay. Just Connor and herself. Her thoughts softly went to a part of her mind that shouldn't have been thinking. 'I wonder....how Mrs. Rosslynn Knight sounds.....oh my....that has such a beautiful ring to it. Rosslynn Mary Knight.' she thought, smiling happily.
Ross smiled as she listened to Connor speak. His voice was so heavenly. And she loved him from the bottom of her heart. Watching him eat the last of his dinner, she had a soft smile on her face. However, her cheeks turned a crimson color as he wiped off some spaghetti sauce from off her chin. Giggling softly, she looked him in the eyes. Her love for him was forever, and as he spoke again she nodded happily. “Yes, my darling love.” was what she responded. They walked out of the restaurant and got back into the taxi to head to her place. All she could think about was being able to have him with her that night. Ross wanted him to stay with her until morning, just so she would know that the things that happened that day weren't a dream.
As they rode in the taxi, the song marry me came back on the radio. Smiling, she leaned against Connor gently. They had finally arrived at her apartment complex. Who knows what was to happen when they got up there?
