Fred followed Ross gaze as she looked at the front part of the boat to find there were musicians there. This was a touristic boar after all so it was more than usual street musicians played there to get some money; he gazed back at her with a smile. “They are probably just street musicians playing here.” He said; he found no reason why they should be carrying their instruments with them otherwise. He proceeded then to look around him the rest of the city and the calm waters of the river, until the excited voice of Ross made him look at her with surprise. Fred had understand that she wasn’t in very good terms with her family and she had also made him understand that the entire members where in Scotland. Now he was confused when she told him about the chance of meeting one of them. She seemed happy enough with the idea of him being in Paris though so her offered her a bright smile, not really sure it was such a great idea meeting one them since they could be the protective kind and mistake what they had between them. “Why don’t you go and see if it’s him?” He suggested encouraging her to go to his side. He understood how hard it was to be apart from someone you loved because he missed his father and friends a great deal and was wishing to go back home to spend some time with them. Not that he was uncomfortable in Paris but… well there is no place like home right?
Then he laughed, she was right about him running her career if her ever sing. He had no voice whatsoever and when he sang in the shower, which is something everyone in the world does or had done at least once in life, it sounded more like cats drowning in agony than music. “That’s probably the best thing to do.” He said agreeing with her. It wasn’t long after that that she squealed happily about her brother being really there, he smiled at her and soon enough a younger boy was meeting them in the boat. He was lost in the speech both of them were having since he had no idea of the language they were speaking. She seemed happy so he didn’t have to worry, and well not that he could much if they decided to start arguing in front of him, he was nothing more than a stranger. Ross turned to him then and introduced the both of them and before he could open his mouth she said something and laughed, then hugged Avis. “I’m Fred, nice to meet you.” He said politely offering his hand to him and smiling. “Really? well that's great!” He was a nice guy after all and there were little people who weren’t standing in his good side.

Rosslynn clung onto Avis as he went and shook Fred's hand gently. “Aye, me sister hasn't caused you too much problems, 'as she?” the younger man asked, his accent thicker than hers. “You can speak French better than me? I'm jealous.” she said, letting go of him and crossing her arms slowly. Now, Ross wasn't really upset at Avis. He was good at studying different languages. But she did pout playfully, which made Avis laugh. “Oh! I have good news fer ya. Damon, Duncan, Archer and I are movin' 'ere! I have no clue when. But we are making an effort to.”
with that, the young musician became speechless. Her siblings were moving to Paris? This was new. She looked over at Fred and smiled happily. “Well, looks like I will have five brother's looking after me then, won't I? Since I just adopted Fred here as one.” she told her younger brother gently. Avis laughed. “Aye, is that so. Well, welcome to the brotherhood Fred.” he said, chuckling. Now, Avis was a very accepting kid. He was outgoing and sweet. Ross smiled and sat back down beside Fred and patted the seat on her other side. Avis took a seat and leaned back. “Fred was just showing me Paris since- she started to say, but was cut off by Avis. “Since yer a hermit?” the younger man teased gently. Rosslynn glared at him and sighed, shrugging a little. “Yeah, pretty much.”. This made the younger musician laugh again and he looked over at Fred. “I am happy someone will be around to help watch after her. She is a 'and full!” he said, placing his hand on her shoulder. How it seemed between these two was Avis acted like an older brother to Ross, but maybe that was normal since she was the only sister in the family.[/blockquote][/blockquote] tag: Fred words: 309 notes: Sorry its so short >.<'

It was a bit awkward, being in front of Ross real sibling and taking into account they just met but those were the kind of things that happened to Fred. Since he was such an easy going guy everyone trusted him with everything at first sight and ended up always listening to stories of everyone’s lives. He didn’t mind actually, it was just another proof of how well his mother had raised him and also his father. Fred tended to think a bit too much of her mother, maybe because her death left a deep impact on him, he hadn’t expect her to die at all. He shook those thoughts from his head and smiled at the young boy. It seemed they had a really good brotherly relationship and that she wasn’t really going to need him to fill that void and that was great, the love of a sibling couldn’t really be replaced. “No, she is really a good girl.” Fred said laughing, answering Avis’ questions. Fred stayed silent watching a bit from afar how the two of them joked around with one another.
Ross seemed to be really happy and she was delighted beyond words when Avis told her all of her siblings were going to move to Paris. Just a few moments ago she was all sad and homesick and now it seemed the whole Newlanders family was taking over the city. He was a bit scared of getting to know them all actually, not all of them could be that nice. And not because they were bad persons but because Fred understood they could get a bit overprotective. “It seems so. Thanks.” He said laughing a bit again. It was all a bit… weird but oh well Fred was one for that so who was going to complain? He smiled at the girl and shook his head. “Well she decided to come see Paris with a stranger so I don’t see where that hermit side if her is.” He had been trying for her to open a bit and forget her shyness since at the start she was doubtful and all scared, it seemed he did a good job because now she was being more like herself. “I don’t think it will be necessary anymore with all of you coming to the city.” He laughed and looked at his side, the streets full of tourist watching the river. Who would have believed?
