PERSONALITY, marcus is a nice person, to say the least. he does not care what people think of him, mostly because he grew up in an environment in which he was thought very little of. naturally, he didn't let that falter his belief that he was a talented photographer, and he continued to do what he wanted to do, rather than listen to people's hurtful words. he's quiet, but not obscenely so - because in reality, he's very friendly and kind hearted. he just tends to put up some sort of wall, and people often think of him as walking around with a stick up his ass, as he is quite uptight and studious. he's a perfectionist and likes things to go as he planned them to go, but he always has a plan b if it doesn't work out. he's calculating and intelligent, and when in the classroom, he likes to reach out to the students more than the teacher even, because he feels thats how they will truly learn. he's incredibly helpful, yet some people are nervous to talk to him, because of his calm and collected air. he's slightly awkward when it comes to relationships, and he doesnt even consider himself a romantic being in any shape or form. as far as he's concerned, he's planning on becoming a crazy cat man.
he's quirky, but not overly so - and he's very welcoming to those who want anything to do with him. however, if you do annoy him, he will ignore you. he's not one to take violence out on anyone, or even lash out with his words so much, though he can come across as being sarcastic, depending on who he is with. he's loyal to those he likes, too, but he has interesting ways of showing it. some people think he might even be a bit too loyal, but...thats their opinion. he'd definitely disagree.

OTHER FAMILY, marcus has an older brother, by the name of wilson, who currently is 27, and working in america.
HISTORY, marcus was born into a lovely family, with wealth and loving parents. of course, his parents were very high end business ceo's, and felt that marcus and his elder brother wilson would follow suit. when marcus was growing, he had developed an eye for the arts, sketching and taking pictures - and what seemed like a small hobby was becoming something far greater. wilson felt marcus was living in a pathetic dreamland, and he often critizised his younger brother, to no avail. marcus had a talent for not being affected by what his parents or his brother said to him, and even to this day, he doesn't really care what people think of him.
when marcus was old enough, he was accepted and attended la lumineuse, excelling in the photography field. it was a terrific ego booster to the teenager, as he had never been told he was very good back at home. which...he didn't really mind, either way. he mostly abandoned his family, and refuses to talk to them. instead, he took the job he had always coveted, helping out the photography business by becoming an assistant teacher there.
