maureen and derek were born into a wonderful and loving home. although they were the same age, derek always protected her and he loved her very much. they always had a strong sibling bond. they had an interesting childhood with their mother being american and their father being french. they had the best of both world. her mother always told them that they would visit her home land one day. but both her parents loved france. her father's family loved derek and maureen and they had a wonderful family bond.
then tragedy struck. maureen and derek were 12 when their parents were in a car accident that took their life. they were left in the company of their aunt, who had no children, but loved them dearly. it was hard on young maureen. she began dancing and realized she had a passion for it. it was a way for her to release her sadness and depression. maureen poured almost all of her time into dancing and becoming the best she could. when she and her brother reached the age of 17, they set their sights on la lumineuse private academy, and when they two turned eighteen, they began attending the wonderful school.
