PERSONALITY, Minoru Murakami is a rather neat individual to say the least. Completely organized, he dislikes any disorder that happens to cross his path. He'd prefer it if things went smoothly and without any mishap; however, that rarely ever seems to be the case. Minoru tends to have a rather destructive personality despite this, however, and when something doesn't fit just right, he is more likely to force it than to figure out what is wrong. Violence is an answer to quiet a few of his frustrating problems ranging from personal relationships to technical difficulties. Which makes sense when considering he is a member of the Yakuza - more specifically the Kudo-kai group (they are more or less referred to as "grossly viscous"). His violent personality seems to come hand-in-hand with a superiority complex.
His personality is similar to that of fire - which he happens to have a certain passion for. It doesn't take much fuel for him to explode but more often than not, he is a gentle flame flickering quietly, stranded on a candle wick. As long as there are no agitations or reasons for him to spread, he remains where he is and nothing goes up in flames. However, the moment the chance is offered, he consumes anything he can reach.
He's also rather sly and observant. When not angered, he'd rather sit back and watch things unfold rather than be in the middle of the avalanche. This makes him a rather passive-aggressive person. He doesn't trust easily and has a rather forgetful mind - or at least he claims in order to evade arguments he'd rather not partake in. However, when he has to, he's not afraid to get down and dirty. Though, he prefers a more planned approach. He treats most things like a game of chess and would rather take things one step at a time. He's more of a fox and would rather set a trap and see what happens then go in shooting bullets. He claims that a role of duct tape and a few house hold appliances can cause more destruction than a gun. Because of this, he almost always has a roll of duct tape on him.
Fortunately, he is not a completely violent monster. Minoru smiles easily when he's around the right company and can get along with mostly anyone when he wants to. However, he is easily distracted by small trinkets and machines and will take them apart to figure out how they work. He's extremely skilled when it comes to chemistry and machines and can make some grand from borderline nothing. He's resourceful that way.

Already, he has started gathering the many tattoos a yakuza member receives. From the age of fifteen, he was forced to sit as his father scarred his skin with a tiger starting on his right pectoral and curling down his side. This alone took years to complete since Ryuu insists he receives his tattoos by hand - the old-fashioned way.
His father is the leader of the Kudo-kai group sectored in Tokyo but not the son of the actual president of the Kudo-kai. However, he still managed to gather a rather haughty attitude and believes himself to be one of the most skilled Kudo-kai members. From a young age, he was trained by his father. He knows hand-to-hand combat, basic sword skills, and not only how to use a gun, but how to assemble and take apart various types of handguns thanks to his curiosity in figuring out how to make things tick.
