PERSONALITY, takoda took what his father did for a living and did the opposite. watching his father be a serial killer through the years, even if he didn't realize what was going on, he became a police officer. his biggest goal was to become a behavioral analyst for the FBI. during his line of duty and outside of being a police officer, takoda is a hero. he has a bit of a hero complex. he can't stand watching other people be in pain, which always puts himself in danger.

HISTORY, takoda was born into a family of a mother that was native american and a father that was american. his mother had gone against her father's wishes and had married takoda's father, two years later giving birth to him. it was about nine years later that things started to really stand out to takoda and his mother. takoda's father was constantly gone at night, always blew up at the smallest things, but was always getting takoda things that he wanted. anything but a pet. naturally takoda, as a child, didn't worry when it came to his father. he stepped around the things that made his father angry, because he understood that his father didn't like it. at the age of fourteen, takoda started to question things as much as his mother didn't want him to. it wasn't until his mother never showed up again that takoda understood that his father was dangerous.
at the age of sixteen, the FBI finally caught up to his father, the montana skinner. takoda hadn't ever realized that his father was a serial killer, or at least he thinks he didn't know. either way, he was protecting himself. he was sent to a foster home, isadora and percy. immediately they took him in as their own son. takoda became friends with cecilia, something he'd never had before, and went to a new school. it took a while for the news to get around about who he was, because he took his mother's last name, but he's come to accept who he is. takoda immediately went into police academy and became a police officer.
at the age of twenty two, takoda lost his biological mother to a car accident. it was tough on him, because he was loosing a mother all over again, but he pushed through it. one year ago he was asked to transfer to paris, french being one of the languages that he was fluent in.
