insomnia. it isn't uncommon to find michael out wandering around in the middle of the night. he has a bad case of insomnia, and rarely sleeps, but you can't ever tell. he does have a lot of energy when it comes to interacting with people during the day. psychologists say that it's because he doesn't want to dream about the nightmares he has, and some say it's just a form of post traumatic stress disorder. michael doesn't remember what happened to him when he was younger. that is, unless he's asleep. when he's asleep, he relives every nightmare that he had to live through while he was alive.
anger. michael has a lot of anger and aggression towards other people. the sarcasm that escapes his mouth is always meant to hurt some one. he doesn't ever care about what other people think of his personality, and honestly it's their hatred towards him that fuels the ego. he rarely finds some one that can stand the crap that he hands out. that's why he was so close to wesley, because wesley caused him to become protective of him rather than aggressive toward the younger boy.
passionate. even if it may seem like he can't stand being around other people, people are the one thing that drive him to become a better dancer and person. when he's dancing with other people, he takes his emotions and puts them on that person and on himself. it isn't angry emotions though, and that generally causes him to fall for other dancers, because he usually shows the passion behind himself that he hides at any other time.

HISTORY, michael grew up in a house hold that consisted of his mother. no father, because his father was a manwhore and couldn't keep it in his pants. michael was always watching out for his mother, because he could tell that she wasn't happy with her life. this constantly made him feel like she never loved him, and that she didn't want him in their life. when he was sixteen years old, his mother died of cancer, and he was left to his mother's aunt and uncle. his aunt and uncle let him keep all of the money in his name that his mother left for him, and he didn't touch it for a long time. he didn't feel like he was entitled to it.
at the age of seventeen, michael met his dream guy. big, strong, some one that could hold him when he felt insecure. the two got engaged, and michael's fiancee was shipped off to fight in iraq. three months later, michael found out that he had been killed in the war. this tore him inside and out. he called and talked to wesley, but he could tell there was something wrong with wesley. a couple days ago, michael arrived in paris for a visit with wesley and to tell him he was accepted into the school, but he got a call from wesley. or more so a voicemail telling him that he was sorry. michael rushed to the hotel room that they were supposed to stay in and found wesley just on the edge of life. he paid the hotel, newspaper, and hospital to keep quiet about the fact that his brother was actually alive, because there had to be a reason that wesley was attempting suicide. so he shipped his half brother off to chicago for now, and planned for him to come back after he found out what was going on.
