Nicholas Matthews was so stress lately that i was nice he was finally taking some time off he needed. He looked around his room for clothes that were not all busniess type, he had miss wearing the normal clothes. He usual one did when he had free time, no work and when he was heading off to somewhere peaceful. Nick decide to ask anouk to come with him because he wanted to have some time with her because he was always off doing work she barely saw him and he felt bad that he never made time for her. He smiled at the fact his phone was going off and hoped it was her and notice it was a text message. He rolled his eyes because it was his boss telling him that this would be his last break till christmas.
He never knew why his boss hated him so much. He has the type of boss that jason bateman had in Horrible bosses. He was so judgemental and didn't like if you were late or if he notice the fact you didn't care for your job. He texted his boss back and told him that he knew and that he would not be late every day till christmas. Nick put his phone down and looked at his screensaver it happen to be a picture of him and anouk. He wish he could be a better boyfriend but knowing that the boss was always going to be on his back worry him. He like being around her but his job came first sadly. He got his boss out of his mind and finished packing. He looked down at his phone at the time and grabbed it and texted her, ''Hey you, im going to pick you up soon, I hope you brought your pillow since were driving to spain.'' Nick want to leave paris for a little and decide to go home to spain and he wanted to bring her with him.
His house was in the country side of spain and he love how peacefully it always was therefore that would be there destination for there trip. He grabbed his pack bag and head downstairs to make sure everything was secure, and pet his dog one last time because he knew his sister had promise to come over after he left and take him for the weekend. Maddie and him hadn't been talking lately but when he had sent her the text about how his dog needed to be care for she sent a quick text back that she would take him and told him she would use her key. He put the letter that he wrote maddie on the table right by the door since he knew she would notice. He turn the alarm on and walk outside and locked his door before heading to his car. He just like to make sure his house wasn't going to be broken into. He smiled and open the car and headed to the back to throw his bag in and got into the driver's seat. He started his car and headed over to her house.
He knew this weekend would be very peaceful and that is what he needed. He pulled up to her house and smiled. He knew she was going to need help so he got out of his car and headed up to the front door and knocked. He was nervous to see her but he knew that this weekend is what the both of them needed. Just some good old peace and quiet. [/size] |

Anouk hated this entire situation. She was used to lying, to hide things from people and do what she wanted when she wanted. But things had changed since she started dating Alexei, and what she hated the most of this was cheating on him. It couldn’t be called cheating if it was his idea and he had agreed to this, fake-dating someone so no one would suspect of them being together, especially her parents. At first Anouk didn’t see a reason to agree to his pleas, seeing it stupid and futile since no one had given a damn up until now, but he was so worried that she just had to give in. She hadn’t really plan on dating someone, her mother was happy seeing her not changing boys like t-shirts, Carine loved the fact that she was taking a break from her life. So Anouk hadn’t planned on dating someone until Alexei found Sophia, and then as an act of revenge and loyal to her words she found Nick and was going to make sure he regretted his decision. It was hard and painful, it was hell but she had to do what she had to though it was difficult when Alexei and her started to have sex. Well it wasn’t just sex, it was… different, special, incredible and just made their bond deeper. Now it was harder to betray him like this, to kiss and hug another man, just to touch Nick was hard for her.
But Nick was great. He was so… charming, he shined and was always worrying about her. Sure lately he had been stressed out and worked the majority of the time; they didn’t see each other that much, which was just fine with her. Anouk could spend more time with Alexei that way. Her heart was torn between the love she felt for Alexei and the hurt she was inflicting Nick without him even knowing yet. He was the kind of guy she would have decided to settle with if she had found him when she wasn’t with Alexei, which only made things even more difficult for her. Sighing she looked at the clock and keep packing her things for the trip, listening the tone of her mobile when a text came in she grabbed it and smiled at the screen; it was Nick. Anouk didn’t know why she smiled like an idiot when she received texts from him or was talking to him, maybe because the man had a way of being charming enough to have her happy. Her mouth was wide open when she read he was taking her to Spain, she reread the text again to make sure he wasn’t reading wrong. She hadn’t plan on going to another country with him, this was more serious than she had thought, and this would only bring more pain later.
Sitting on the edge of the bed staring at nothing she sighed again and let her head rest on her hands. Why was she doing this again? Why did she have to give in again and in something like this? This was only going to hurt both of them, Anouk knew it was a bad idea from the start but Alexei had insisted so much… things were getting serious and now what was she supposed to do? She loved Alexei way too much to hurt him but… it was too late to go back now. Texting him back she finished packing and waited for him, chatting with her mother about him. She hear the door and smiled, running to open it, she had just one small suitcase because as hard as it was to believe she wasn’t one of those girls who take everything with her just in case, she took what she needed. “Hello darling.” She said kissing him softly on the lips. “I am ready. Let’s go?” She waved her mom goodbye and took her suitcase. Taking his hand with her free one.

''Hello sweetheart'' He said after kissing her back softly on the lips. ''Sure, lets head off'' He said walking with her hand in hand. It was sorta strange to him because he really didn't know how to hold her hand because he wasn't the best with affection and didn't know how to show anouk that he cared for her. He smiled at her mom and walked her down to his car, he open the trunk and took her suitcase from her and put it in the back with his suitcases and went to passage door and helped her in. He was very gentleman about helping her into his car.
He smiled at her and closed her door and headed back to the passenger side. He looked down at his phone and noticed his boss had sent him emails and text messages telling him that he was a fool for leaving for the weekend and that he was maybe going to hold it against him. He was so sick of his boss he couldn't wait to make partner because once that this was done he didn't have to worry about not having time for anouk. He put his phone away in his pocket and started the car up. He turned the radio on for her to play with since he didn't mind. He headed down the road and knew where he was going since he has been in France for a long time now and knew how to get back to Spain. He didn't know if she was going to talk or not but he just smiled and kept driving because he just need to think about the road and he hoped that this weekend would be peaceful. He wonder about how she liked being his girlfriend because she was one of the first to have that title. He really didn't date in high school and Maddie could tell her that since she always had dean. He never liked dean and hope that guy would not find out that he was having children because he just didn't trust the guy at all. He forgot about high school and relationship and notice that anouk did in fact go to sleep which was fine with him. He knew the drive would be long and take them a while. He smiled when the hours pasted and he had finally made into Spain.
He now was driving to the house would take them about another forty mins which he hope was fine with her. He did couple more turns and had finally made it to the street where he grew up on. He looked at all the houses and forgot how pretty they were since he hadn't been back here for a while. He turned into the driveway and open the garage door and put his car in the garage. He notice she was still sleeping and smiled. He headed to the back of the car and grabbed there bags and walked inside since he wanted to go in first. He looked around and put there bags in the living room and headed back outside to see if she had woke up and that he wanted to make sure she knew that they were here. He walked over to the car open the door and gently kissed her lips and told her to wake up and that she was welcome to look around.
He notice that his siblings cars were all still here except for Maddie and Juliette since they were both in France. He laughed and wonder if they would be coming home or not. He hoped that they just were somewhere else and decided to leave there cars at the place they called home. He walked over to his dad's old car and wonder if he was ever going to fix that up. It was very nice car and just sat in there garages since he was gone and he never got to give it to the one of them. He looked at the car once more and head back pasted his car and inside. He headed to the front door and took his shoes off.
He forgot how big this place was and hoped that his room hadn't been touch and that his office right next store had everything still in tact. He didn't want to do business while here but he need to tell his boss nicely that he was off for the weekend and that he will get to everything on monday. He walked into the room and saw the everything was still there and open the computer and sent a email and hoping his boss didn't have any nasty words to say. He close the computer after he was done and shut the door since it was his weekend off. He walked back to the living room and notice that anouk had taken her bag and he wonder if she was going to unpack or what she was going to do.
He didn't even know if she was going to be in his room with her. They were a couple but they never did anything but kiss which was fine with him because he didn't know if she was ready for everything else. He was use to moving fast and everything but taking it slow with her was fine with him. He grabbed his bags and headed down the hall where his room was and hoped to see her there but he didn't know. He opened the door that had his name on it and waited to see if he would see her there. He just really hoped this weekend would make up for the time he hasn't given her because of work. He smiled and open the door and wonder what the weekend had in store for them. [/font][/size] words: 989 |

It was very different; she could notice the differences between Alexei’s and Nick’s lips, and their hands. Anouk tried to push all those thought off her mind, knowing she was going to regret her decision when she came back home to Alexei but right now she had to concentrate on Nick now and enjoy his company. All in all Anouk didn’t dislike spending time with him, he was a great guy, so charming and she felt comfortable around him, the only problem was him working so much and during such a long time that they never got to spend enough time together, which was a good thing too. Walking to the passenger door she smiled when Nick opened it for her and she got in. “Thank you.” Anouk rolled her eyes at his mobile and titled her head to look outside the window wondering if the weekend was going to be one of those she would spend alone while he talked to his boss on his phone. He turned the radio but she wasn’t feeling like listening to music so she didn’t touch it, instead she positioned her pillow between her head and her arm and tried to get some sleep since the trip by car was going to be long.
After some really long hours Anouk noticed the car stopped, she was still too sleepy to make something out of that and so her eyes didn’t open. Then she heard her door open and soft lips kissing her, she smiled and her eyes slowly opened, her mind still a bit hazy she yawned and rubbed her eyes. “Did we arrive?” Anouk looked around her and smiled, the place was beautiful. She got off the car and closed the door, looking around her and smiling at Nick. “Is this your house? Here is where we are staying?” Suddenly she was nervous, since she had been sleeping during the travel she couldn’t ask him where they were going to stay in Spain and the prospect of meeting his family so soon hadn’t been in her mind at all. Sure she knew Maddie but this was different. Nick left her on her own to wonder around the house which didn’t make her very happy. She was a stranger in a stranger’s house, where was she supposed to go? Where was she supposed to sleep? Taking her suitcase she wandered around until she found his room.
The kind of relationship she had with Nick was… well, not very close for being a couple. Anouk was used to be passionate and touchy, not romantic though. With Nick… well they kissed, hold hands… but he had so many things on his mind that they never got… well they never did a single thing besides kissing. Which was good, and bad, because she was sure Alexei did more than kissing with Sophia and though she dread the thought of getting so close to someone else but him it was a way of paying him back his idea. This was enough in a way; she was acting like a kid seeking for revenge, so childish and so stupid. She heard the door open and turned, she was opening her suitcase to get her toilet bag and clean herself a little bit. Nick was on the door and she smiled at him. “I like the house, it suits you.” This was the first time Anouk realized they were alone, completely and absolutely alone, far away from her home and anyone walking on them… and she wasn’t sure what to make of it. “Is all your family here?” Anouk wasn’t comfortable with the idea of meeting the whole family; she thought this was going to be a weekend for them and just that.
Acting like a girlfriend for him was more or less easy, acting like a girlfriend for a whole family was another thing entirely, she will have to pretend that she loved him, that she was comfortable around him… she pretended that for him whenever they were together, but how was she going to manage with his family? Anouk’s first impulse was taking her mobile phone and call Alexei, but she realized she had no coverage. So taking a deep breath she proceeded to pretend again, he didn’t know all of this was fake, and he didn’t have to know really. “I thought this was going to be a weekend for just you and me.” She said in that seductive tone she hadn’t use in ages, the one she used to hunt boys down and that she didn’t need any more. But now it seemed like the right time to start using it again and she was acting different than she did with Alexei. She used a different tone, different ways of seducing him, she reserved the best for him. “I thought we were going to be alone.” Raising an eyebrow she crossed the room and circled his neck with her arms, tiptoeing a bit to reach his lips and kissed him softly. “To make up for the time we weren’t together.” She wasn’t going to carry this too far though, because she didn’t want sex but at least she was going to make the best of this and spend the best time she could with him. Removing her hands from his neck she walked again to her suitcase and winked at him. “Let me get ready, too many hours in the car, then I’m all yours.”

Nick smiled at her when she said thank you. The car ride when good because he was happy she fell a sleep because he just need some time to think and hoped they would have to talk. Nick knew that anouk weren't that close but he though they did okay. Nick smiled when they finally made it to Spain. He really hope she was okay with them staying at her house. Nick wonder how to answer her question and knew what to say. ''Yes we have arrived and yeah this is my house'' He said.
He bite his lip because he knew she was nervous about maybe having to deal with his siblings. ''Yeah this is my house, the place i grew up in and where my memories of happier family life'' He said. He smiled when he left her and did the things he need to do for work. He then headed to his room and was standing in the doorway and smiled at her. ''Yeah it does, its nice and all of my siblings and I lived here and were lucky we kept this place'' He said. Her next question made him question to make sure none of the other were here and he headed to there rooms to make sure no else was here. He laughed because they all left notes for him because they didn't want him to worry about having the house by themselves. He heads back to the doorway. ''Don't worry anouk, were completely alone, they just must have been too lazy to take there car's with'' He said smiling. He hated that she was scared they were going to have there alone time.
He sense it made her nervous to have to worry about his siblings. ''It is all about you and me'' He said. He just wished that she didn't have to worry. He had secretly made sure they were all gone but didn't want to tell her that because he didn't want to freak her out. He was very close to all of them and he knew they would listen to him. He felted her arms around him and then her lips kiss his. ''We are going to have all the alone time we can have'' He said. He kissed her head and told her ''That's fine, i have thing to do, i be in the kitchen okay'' He said. He smiled and closed the door behind him. He headed to each sibling's room and made sure they were locked. It was one of there rules not to go into the others room when they were home. Nick made that rule up after he found his sister Julies had gone into his room and took something that shocked him. He just respect there privacy and head down the hall and close the office as well because he didn't want her to know he had done work earlier.
He walked into the kitchen and looked around in the fridge to make some food because he was hungry. He would make anouk food because he thought it would be rude if he didn't. He didn't ask for much because he had to deal with crazy hours and how his boss always botter him but he would have to deal with the fact the partnership was far from his reach. He ignored his phone and started to cook food. He hoped that anouk didn't mind him making something for her because it was very long car ride which made him very hungry. He looked at the house and smiled because it was just how he left it. He walked to the garage and made sure the car was lock and the doors were down. He didn't need to deal with any annoying animal guests. He walked back into the kitchen and finished the food and left hers out on the counter. He sat down at the table and started to eat because he couldn't handle another moment being hungry. He smiled and forgot how he made a good grilled cheese sandwich. He had missed being normal.
He heard her walking down the hall and smiled because he was happy to see she was gracing him with her present. He was happy that he met anouk and was happy she didn't mind them going slow. He didnt' want to rush anything and that was the reason why he didn't even say i love you to her. He didn't use those three little words. His siblings always wonder if he would. He smiled and waited for her to say something to him. He just knew this weekend would be nice for the both of them. He wasn't pushing for anything, just some time from the girl he loved being around. Anouk travelled a lot with her father back in the past when he took her with him. Since her mother re-married though she had stopped traveling as much and decided to stay for Alexei. It had been the best decision of her life and also the worst. But the thing was, now she was in Spain, a place she hadn’t visited much before and with her new ‘boyfriend’ Nick. She wasn’t interested at all in having a cover boyfriend, it had all been Alexei’s and his paranoid what got them in this situation but now she thought it was a good decision. Anouk was given the chance to enjoy a worry-free weekend with a guy that, when he was focusing his attention on her, pampered her no end and treated her like a princess. She didn’t like much the fact of being on his house, his territory instead of neutral one, this was way too personal but she bit her tongue and decided to go along with it. “It’s an amazing house.” She said with a sleepy smile on her face. She wasn’t too keen on the idea of spending time in his house and even less keen on the idea of being there alone.
Nick was sure doing something work related and she had to suppress a scream of frustration. Yes, Nick was amazing in a lot of ways but he had this horrible side that was such a workaholic and barely spent time with her. That made things easier though because she could spend more time with the one she really wanted to be with, Alexei. Anouk didn’t have enough time to think about Alexei because Nick appeared on the doorway, she sighed relieved when he said they were alone. Great, no family dealing to do which was one huge relief. “Oh really? All of your siblings? Well that explains why it is so big.” She smiled when he reassured her that they were completely alone, she didn’t want to pretend in front of Nick’s family that she was his girlfriend, it was hard enough as it was and she would have to give a lot of explanations she wasn’t ready for… or wanted to make up. Anouk smiled at his words... realizing she shouldn’t be smiling at them and feeling guilty for it. But outside she didn’t show it. She waited for him to be out of the room, giving her the space she needed to let out a small scream of frustration. Anouk didn’t like to be treated like a child and he kissed her in the head! She had the impression the age difference was going to complicate things between them.
She showered and changed into fresh clothes, feeling more like herself now that she was clean and sparkling. Trying to call Alexei again before leaving the room she sighed, no coverage once again; this was going to be a very long weekend. Closing the door behind her Anouk tried to locate the kitchen, oh god why did he have to leave her alone in this enormous house she wasn’t used to? It was good that he trusted her in such a way but it made her feel a bit confused and alone. The smell of food was the thing that helped her to find the kitchen and sure enough he was there sitting on the table with food in front of him, and he was smiling at her as if she was the person he loved being around the most… Another wave of guilt hit her but she had to suppress those feelings or things will end up slipping. “Hey, you made me something to eat? Thank you.” She picked her food from the counter and went to sit beside him. “This smells yummy.” She said, taking a bite. “Now I want to know more about your family and your childhood.” She just wanted to make time and look for a topic of conversation, they hadn’t been alone during such a long time in… well, never and now it was a bit strange being so far away from home and the one he loved.

Nick laughed at the fact this house had been with them for so long. Nick remember growing up here and how he was the only one who grew up with his mother and father. Nick hated thinking about his dad, since his sisters will never get have him at there wedding and have him give them away. Nick always wonder what life would be like if his mother and father never divorced and he never died from cancer. Nick knew his mom was still around but of she was using and the fact she had remarried to a druggie didn't really want her in his life. Nick always knew his siblings deserve both parents but nick knew there were signs that his parent's weren't happy.
Nick smiled looking at the family picture before his dad died. His siblings were so young then and Maddie was about to start high school before he had passed. Nick didn't mind being there guardian and always tried to be there for each sibling. Nick hated that some of his siblings always question him sometimes. They didn't understand why he was dating someone so much younger than him. Nick honestly didn't care what they though, him and anouk were fine and he really just wanted them to stop judging him. He smiled when she came down to eat. ''Yeah I thought you would be hungry since we did have a long car ride, your welcome'' He said. ''Yeah, this was always one of the favorites i would make for me and my siblings'' He said. He bite his lip since he didn't know how he could talk about his past. He hated thinking about it but since she asked he would tell her.
''There are six Matthew's children including me'' He said. ''Four girls and two boys, our mother is out of the picture and dad died from cancer my senior year of high school'' He said. Nick wonder how he could say the next thing without wanting to bite his tongue. ''My mom wasn't the best mother, so when our father died we agreed since i happened to be eighteen that i would take guardianship of my brother and sister's'' He said. I honestly don't know where she is now but i know she doesn't want to be in are lives because we remind her so much like are father. ''I pretty much had to raise my brother and sisters till they all hit the age of 18 and it was hard but we did it and Maddie help me which was good and what i needed'' He said. ''My childhood was okay, i had siblings come in to my life and i remember me and Maddie were closer when were younger, she would always make me play tea with her'' He said. The one thing i wish my siblings got to have though is my dad being there to see them graduate and get married and have kids. I know i get to see it all but i think my dad would have loved to be around'' He said. He looked at her and smiled. ''My siblings and i don't seem close anymore but we still talk from time to time'' He said.
He knew this subject wasn't going to be the easiest for him but she wanted to know and he told her. He finished his sandwich and got up and put the dishes in the dishwasher. ''Would you like to know anything else about me or is that all the questions your going to ask'' He asked. He didn't know how the rest of the weekend would go but honestly being older than her had its problems sometimes. He bite his lip and waited for her to say something. He just wish this relationship was easier but being the workaholic he was he knew it wouldn't be any time soon. [/font][/size] |

Staring at the sandwich he had made for her she smiled. Nick was great but he lacked of one mayor thing, time to pamper her and she hated that. Well not exactly hated it because it was a way of having more time with Alexei but… she wanted to make Alexei regret his decision about taking a fake boyfriend in order to look less suspicious in front of their parents. Anouk sensed Nick was uncomfortable when he was talking about his life and his past but she wanted to get to know him a bit better now that they were going to spend the weekend alone. She didn’t plan this, she wanted him to be one of those… boyfriends she had which meant no feelings involved and much less talk about private affairs but this was different, he was supposed to be… serious, a serious thing more or less. She allowed him to talk while she ate, paying attention to what he said really interested in his life… well that all explained why he was such a workaholic. He had a hard life, taking care of all those brothers and sisters… Anouk had an easy life, except when her parents divorced her life had been relative easy. Of course that’s only talking about the family life because when it came to her private one… Alcohol, drugs, depression… but Nick didn’t need to know that. “Uh I guess that’s alright, I don’t need to know more.”
She was quite taken aback and decided to eat the rest of her food in silence looking at the kitchen around her. After a long silence Anouk just couldn’t handle it anymore, going out with Nick was harder than expected, she just wanted to have fun with her boyfriend and no, she wasn’t meaning Nick. Alexei just complicated things for both of them unnecessarily and now she was stuck in the middle of this situation. “My parents divorced when I was seven, and my mother re-married also, I wasn’t sure about that but… my step-dad is a great man and I won a brother.” She smiled looking at her food. Getting to know Alexei… it had been the best thing it happened in her life so far, he never wanted a sister and she never wanted a brother but once they met… well he hated her and she just liked messing up his life, attracting his attention. “I wasn’t very happy at first, my dad travelled a lot and he took me to live with him some months so I moved in a lot, also when she re-married… I’m very close to my mother, or was anyway, it was just like letting part of me go, things changed.”
Oh yes, things changed so much. She never knew it was going to end up this way but it did and Anouk was really happy. Of course their parents wouldn’t be as happy. “My father is kind of a hipster.” She said laughing. “He also re-married not long ago and it’s living in Sydney, quite the awesome dad honestly. I’ve always loved him.” She went to clean her dish after she was done too and then after drying her hands wrapped her arms around Nick’s hips. “Is there something more you want to know?” She looked up at him bating her eyelashes. Nick knew how to charm a girl but Anouk also knew how to charm men, it was easy thing for her to do, she didn’t even have to think about what she did, it came out naturally. Taking things slow with him was perfect because well, she had always been the fast-pace kind of girl and she had no idea how on hell she was going to say ‘no’ to sex if he ever wanted to have it with her, he was older than her after all and their needs were slightly different; at least now that she was death serious about Alexei and nothing of that kind could ever happen again if it wasn’t with Alex.
