---------------- PERSONALITY ---------------
LIKES, taking pictures, painting, colors, beach, animals, strawberry, exploring, site-seeing, music, being happy, nice people, long walks, deep conversations, drawing.
DISLIKES, thunderstorms, tornados, alcohol, rude people, people who feel ‘they are beyond saving, peanuts, liars, cheaters, egotistical people, showing fear.
FEARS, Thunderstorms. Tornados.
PERSONALITY, Allie is an easy-going, southern, small town kind of girl who finds the most pleasure in simple things. She believes in doing what’s right and always trying her hardest- but because of her social insecurities, this isn’t always the case. Because of her father, she doesn’t like being around alcohol- but given the right amount of peer pressure she can be persuaded to attend parties and what not. Taking pictures, drawing scenery outdoors, or just being outdoors in general is usually her escape.
Growing up was… different for Allie. Her father, a born and bred southern Baptist Pastor, had always been a little too over protective of his only daughter for her social life to ever really blossom. Even with the help of her over eccentric mother- Allie found life to be much more agreeable with her if she just did as her father asked. Most people came to believe that she was too agreeable, and not just with her father, but with everyone. There have been very few relationships in her life, usually they ended because she wouldn’t ‘put out.’
Allie tends to be drawn towards people that need ‘saving.’ Give her a sad story or some lonesome gaze and she’s quick to do just about anything you ask of her. Not to say she doesn’t have a mind of her own, but she finds helping others helps her cope with her own problems. She tends to keep everything bottled up inside, never really showing any anger, frustration, or sorrow until pushed into a corner or breaking point. A lot of the reasoning behind this is that she’s just too emotionally insecure to let others know what she’s feeling. She'd rather let guilt eat her alive then open up to someone.
There are rare moments in time when she throws everything she has into something she feels passionate about. While usually transcribed into a drawing or painting, sometimes it’s shown in the form of an outburst. As said before, these are rare and usually avoided at all cost by Allie.

---------------- HISTORY ---------------
FATHER, Daniel Grace
MOTHER, Lenne Grace, deceased
OTHER FAMILY, Gopher, 6 year old Golden Retriever.
HISTORY, Allison Lenne Grace was born in the tiny town of Jasper, Alabama. Her father, Daniel, was studying to become a pastor when his girlfriend, Lenne, became pregnant. For obvious reasons, the two of them were married almost immediately. When she was born, Allie quickly became the center of their world. Now living in tornado alley obviously had is disadvantages, but Alabama was home to Lenne and she wouldn’t listen to a word Daniel said about moving.
Elementary and middle school were stressful for Allison, more so then most people would believe. Her father wouldn’t allow her to be friends with most people, worried that she would become ‘wild’ or corrupt- and the people that he did allow her to hang out with didn’t want much to do with her because she was the local preacher’s daughter. Being such a small town, everyone knew everyone and it made it hard to get away with anything. So Allison took comfort in drawing and sketching, much like her mother who was an artist. For her tenth birthday, her mother bought her a camera and from then on- Allie was almost always with it.
When Allison was thirteen years old, one of the worst tornadoes to ever rip through Alabama came straight to Jasper in the dead of night. It tore through the town and shredded everything to pieces. The alarms barely sounded in enough time to wake the family before the whirling storm was on top of them. The family raced towards the cellar, which due to poor planning was much farther from the home then it needed to be. Allie holding onto their golden retriever puppy for dear life. Thunder crashed loudly all around them, but it was barely audible over the sound of the tornado. Lightning struck a tree near Allie just as she exited the house, and the sight caused her to freeze in place. Frozen in a mixture of fear and panic, Allie watched as her parents suddenly realized she wasn’t behind them. The tornado was nearly upon them at this time and Allie, terrified as it closed in to the space between her and her parents, turned and ran back towards the house. Once on the porch, she ducked behind the railing that had nearly been ripped away from the force of the winds. She peered through the rails of the porch just in time to see her mother make a break for it to get to her daughter, her father barely missing her hand to pull her back. The whirling funnel slung something at their house and Allie heard it as it crashed through the second story window.
And then Allie watched as the tornado sucked her mother into its vortex, and continued its onslaught through their yard and onto the next home before vanishing back into the sky. And suddenly the only sounds that could be heard were the ones of heavy rain and a child’s crying.
Later they found her mother’s body in the neighbor’s house. After her burial, Daniel became withdrawn into himself. He stopped preaching and started drinking all the time. The drinking usually led to an angry outburst and while it wasn’t common, it sometimes turned violent. Even though her father had hit her on a few occasions, Allie didn’t love him any less but she did withdraw from him. She felt party responsible for the death of her mother and came to assume that he blamed her as well. And how could she be angry at him for feeling how he did, when she knew it to be true. The next few years were hard, and Allie started spending her time outdoors doing all kinds of extreme things. Parachuting, Cliff Diving, going into dangerous situations to take pictures with her camera. Her father hated knowing she was endangering herself all the time and ultimately Allie decided maybe it would be best to move away. Her father, whom loved her dearly, was distraught at the idea of having his only daughter, the only family he had left, move so far. Allison believed she was doing the best thing for him though, and enrolled on a scholarship to La lumineuse private academy. Maybe without the constant reminder of her mother, her father could finally go back to being how he used to be. Or so she delusionally thought.
