PERSONALITY, Keith is often misunderstood by his family. Part of it is because he is detached from them. While he is supportive of them he is silent about it. There is no shortage of love for all of them just Keith is different from them. Still, he is a follower in some sense as he followed each of them here-begrudgingly. True to what some people view as the “bad boy” he likes to take his car speeding down back roads with blaring music, smoking and watching horror movies alone. Part of him likes it that way because he doesn’t end up hurt like his sister had been. Then the other part wants him to have that happy go lucky life. That gets hard for him because as a teenager he was diagnosed with depression, something he did well to hide from his family. Keith has gotten past the want to harm himself and submerges himself into different activities to help keep himself breathing. Between work and then some free lance repairs he does for low income families in Paris, he feels pretty good about himself.

HISTORY, The Arlington’s are a wealthy family from Florida. But they weren’t without their problems. Their father wasn’t exactly the loving type as proven when he kicked Keith’s older brother out of the house. Still, the third child in the family bit his tongue and just dealt with it. There had always been some bitterness when it came to his older brothers. The two had seemed fairly content in living in the limelight-people at school flocking to them for their amazing talents and having people adore them. That was something Keith hated because he felt pushed to the side by the two of them. It’s part of what sent him off into his depression. He never felt like he really fit in his family being the runt of the litter. Everyone else was attractive and seemed to make friends easily. He himself was awkward when it came to getting to know people unless a joint and a bottle of whiskey was involved.
Eventually, though, all his siblings moved off to Paris. And Keith really couldn’t take living at home anymore. The construction company he works for was teaming up with a company in France and needed some people who specialized in certain aspects of construction. Mainly energy conservation, detailed metal work and tile work. Keith fit into one of those categories. After being flown out there he found himself a student apartment and set in to having his visa turn into a dual citizenship. Having family there who lived permanently is helping the process though it is a very long one. While he visits with his brothers and sisters, he doesn’t seek them out all the time. Some of them actually has to come to him first. He just doesn’t get their need for big businesses, writing or being out there in the business world. He loves his “mundane”(as some people see it) job and life. There are no pressures except to get the job done and he can live his life somewhat freely.
