Her parents were wealthy, and they lived in a nice, high rise apartment in the downtown area. For years, she had a happy life, having many friends, and really, loving life. She started college, finishing two years studying writing. It was shortly after her 19th birthday that her life changed forever.
Lily had been home for the weekend, and had spent Saturday afternoon with her friends. She returned home at 5, discovering something that chilled her to the bone. Her parents. Dead in the living room. She had screamed, alerting a neighbor who called the police. Her parents had been brutally murdered, and the culprit was never found. Grieving, she turned to her boyfriend, but he left her, not wanting anything to do with her problems. Hurt, and wanting a new life, she moved to Paris, leaving her old life behind. She wanted to forget, to move on, so she enrolled in school there in her third year since she had completed two. Now, she tries to simply settle in, and move on.
