With a camera in her hands and walking around the school, Scarlett was still taking pictures after hours, the academy was over half an hour ago and she was still taking pictures of the school for her school assignment, she had no idea what she was doing or what she was taking photographs of but she was bored. She hoped that there would be someone there with her but everyone was busy these days and she had to do things alone, now she was pretty much used to being an individual since there was nothing else that she could do with others. She hadn’t been out to a party in a while, she hadn’t done anything in a while that counted as social and now all she was doing was just working on assignments and any sort of school work that was left.
Slowly, walking in to different classrooms, she took pictures, through the windows, of the classrooms and of different things whatever she could really find. Earphones were stuck in her ears, as she went from classroom to classroom, urging the time to go faster so that she could just get out of here. Humming to herself she entered the dance studios and waited behind the door as she heard someone in there. Opening her earphones to make sure that there was some real noise instead of her imagination, she smirked as she realised it was once of the dance teachers, Mr Tower. Whoever didn’t know this guy was probably hiding under a rock or an unsocial person who didn’t know anyone.
He was like…the hottest teacher in the Academy. Scarlett became hot all over every time she thought about him, which was weird because he was a teacher but come on, she was sure nearly the majority of the students in the Academy felt like that whenever they say the guy. Smiling she walked in and settled to the side, watching him doing whatever he was doing and took one picture of him. “Hey sir…”

there were days that lexin found relaxing and there were days that lexin found quite the opposite. constantly worrying that one day he would be killed, or worse, that his son would be killed, haunted him day and night. he constantly battled paranoia and anxiety. the only thing that broke him free of worry was his dance. dance was his peace of mind. the place he didn't have to think, because he could just do. dance came naturally to him. no frustrations, just pure happiness. again, a peace of mind. after doing a back flip, landing firmly on his feet, lexin was suddenly jolted to reality. he looked over his shoulder, breathing heavily, spotting a student right away. scarlett. it wasn't hard for lexin to remember names, because it had been his duty to do so for many years.
"scarlett," he said abruptly, nodding his head at her. he walked across the studio to grab a towel he had left hanging on the railing. he watched his own figure move in the mirror in front of him. he had decided on a grey beater with black sweat pants. he didn't see the point of trying to look good during a run through dance. there was absolutely no point to it. but to be honest, he was a little embarrassed at how bad he thought he looked. he grabbed the towel off the rail and wiped his face off with it, and then turned to face scarlett again. "so how are you, scar?" he asked, instantly calling her by nickname. it wasn't against the rules here for students to call their teachers by their first name, if the teacher so wished, because the school was private. "and don't call me sir, please. that's my father's name. you can call me lexin."
he offered her a small smile, and then moved back toward her. lexin rarely fully smiled. it was a miracle if he did.

Lexin Tower, now what could one say about this guy? Even just being in the same room as her had her quivering, which was stupid because Scarlett never quivered in front of a guy before, she was always normal and natural. But she hoped the man wouldn’t notice, a lit of students did that in front of him anyway. She wouldn’t have minded just taking pictures of him and watching him anyway, that was all she did when she was with people…apart from talk as well. She would take pictures, force them to move in that direction or the other and then take another picture. When you were friends with Scarlett, you had to get used to the idea that she would always take pictures of you, whether you were eating, working very hard or even just reaching to grab something from a shelf, it was all going to be caught on camera by Scarlett.
Smiling as the man remembered her name, she nodded at him, watching him move across the dance studio fluently as if he were some sort of graceful swan. Which put a weird mental image of the man in a tutu and prancing about the stage to Swan Lake in her hand. She wanted to laugh out loud, seriously, she had to stop imagining weird things like that, she wasn’t sick anymore…or maybe she was, she didn’t know but still she just had to stop doing that! “I’m good…Lexin, thank you for asking. Just came back to school after three weeks of being sick, but nothing more. How about you? I see you’re dancing, you’re very good at it.” Smiling, she took another picture of him when he smiled. It was weird to see this teacher smiling, sure he tried to give smiles to kids but everyone knew there was something wrong with him because he didn’t smile too often like teachers like Oren and what not.

lexin flinched slightly when she took the picture of him smiling. it honestly made him laugh. he hadn't had a picture taken of him in... he didn't know how long. too long to remember. he listened intently when she responded, knowing that listening to a girl was the best thing that a guy could do. not listening was their first mistake. students thought he was crazy, that he was aware, but they didn't know why he was so quiet. no, they weren't aware that he was hiding from people terrible enough that they would kill lexin and his son.
lexin nodded when she asked how he was doing and commented on his dancing. "i'm doing pretty good. dancing is just my yin and yang. without it i'd go crazy." why was he telling her this? he never talked to anyone about this kind of stuff. maybe that was why. he needed to talk to some one. if he didn't start talking to some one soon he'd probably lose it. he glanced at her camera and said "i noticed that you take pictures a lot. well, before you were gone for a while. i'm glad you're back. i was worried that something happened to you." lexin shifted his feet slightly and then sat down in front of her, wiping away the sweat that had decided to show up on his forehead. "i'm assuming that you are here for photography. what's your favorite picture? outside of your own." if there was something lexin knew about art, it was photography. this was something he could talk to some one about for a long time.
there was a knock at the door and lexin turned his head to see that hannibal, his assistant teacher, was just checking on him. he waved at hannibal as hannibal said he was headed out. lexin said his farewells and then turned his attention back to scarlett and waited for her to say something. silence was something he had always been good at.

Nodding her head as the man spoke, she let out a small smile. “I know what you mean, it’s just like my photography is my own yin and yang too.” Her voice went up a little notch, quite flirtatious as if she were trying to get Lexin to see her for herself, though of course Scarlett was as fake as the many people in this Academy. Everyone was fake of course; no one could survive in the real world without being a little fake otherwise there was probably something wrong. And if you didn’t have to fake anything then you were probably an amazing person. She smiled at him, a happy expression on her face as he told her that he was worried when he didn’t see her around, at least that was a first. What were the odds of that? A teacher noticing she was missing but none of her friends? But she didn’t care about that at the moment, at least someone had noticed she was gone. “Thank you very much, no nothing worrying just a flu that lasted for at least three weeks.” She rolled her eyes; it was a nuisance being sick for that long. “My favourite picture? It’s always got to be something that tells a story, I mean every picture tells a story right? People just interpret it in different ways and try to make it into something relatable to them. So I guess you can say that I like every sort of picture.”
It was true, there was nothing bad about a picture, unless it was of horrible of quality of course and you couldn’t see the picture. Sitting down, she smiled and waved at Hannibal, she knew the guy too. She was a friend with a lot of people in the Academy, it was nice to have friends but it was horrible when they didn’t care. Smiling as Lexin turned his attention on her, she sat up straighter. “So what’s your favourite sort of dance?”
