It was six am and the rain was currently drizzling softly outside onto the roads of Paris. It was always like this whenever winter or autumn came around, there were always chilly days and rain would fall heavily all the time. For Alex, waking up at six in the morning was like a daily routine, except for the past few days when he slept in just to be next to Anouk, but now he was back to his normal self. Ready to wake up in the morning to go work out, not at the gym like most abs-obsessed men did nowadays, but to the park where a lot of people went around for an early morning jog or sprint. Even though it was raining he would do his very best just to get through at least a couple of laps around the park, he needed to keep his stamina up. Being healthy was actually quite important to Alex, even if he ate so much junk food and lived on caffeine, he wanted to at least keep in a good shape and working out was the only way to do it.
A few minutes later he was out of the apartment and jogging down the streets of Paris, maneuvering his way out of early risers who were either going to work or doing their early morning jogs too. It took a lot to get him tired but because he had been out of shape for quite a few days, he found it difficult to run without becoming breathless. His muscles in his legs were tensing up already, but he pushed himself further on and on, eager to get at least half of what he normally did done and out of the way. Running wasn’t all that difficult if you had a lot of practice in it, Alex hadn’t even known he liked running until his dad forced him out of his room from a day of painting for a day of running out through the parks with him. He had forgotten how much a person needed some fresh air instead of the ventilated fake stuff that came through the air conditioners in the house. Running gave him energy that he never felt before and it was truly one of the things he liked to do outside of his four-walled boring life.
Coming to a stop outside of some familiar park gates, he pulled his hoodie closer to his body as the rain splashed against him, whoever thought of someone running with an umbrella in their hand? That would have looked stupid, but the rain was blurring his vision of seeing the roads and the pathways in sight so he had to stop for a second, catch his breath and rub his eyes. Once he felt as if he would be able to carry on with his journey without having any more problems he carried on running through the park trail, smiling awkwardly at older woman and men who were taking a jog around the park with their little dogs, he didn’t like smiling at people but it was rude if he decided not to and Alex didn’t want to come off across as rude anymore. Once his jog came to an end, he found himself on the other side of town away from his home; he didn’t mind that because he always seemed to do that whenever he was running. He forgot where he was going and would just carry on because running helped him to clear his mind of anything that was worrying him.
Going into the nearest coffee shop he could find, he ordered himself one before settling down near a window and taking a sip of the steaming goodness that was placed in front of him soon after. He had a pretty decent morning so far; hopefully it would carry on that way.

Jessica Valentine had usual crazy night like always. Jessica had already made one sun dance movie that when very well and she was working on her second film since she want it to be prefect. She loved that she was only twenty one and was already having a good reviews from the film industry. She was excited to be working on a second script yet this time it need to be different from the the funny/romantic picture she made. She was so sick of having no muse to write the script and today was finally the day she was going to sit down and write.
She walked out of her apartment with her umbrella and her bag that had her laptop, house keys, phone and wallet. She walked the streets of Paris to her little coffee shop place since she want to be somewhere that her sister wasn't at. She was sick of being around her because the house would smell like paint and she didn't enjoy that smell. She laughed when she finally made to the shop. She need her morning ice coffee because she was sick of starting at a blank page for her script. She smiled and got in line and was excited to order her drink final. She paid the person and then grabbed it and sat down.
She turn her computer and then waited for the document to come up because she needed to write. She stared at the page and wonder what would be written today. She wanted something funny and she didn't know why but sad was one of the things she was good at. She started typing and got the idea flowing finally and kept writing and then saw someone she hoped wouldn't recognize her. She hated when people would because of her sun dance movie. She didn't feel like signing anything or even taking a picture. She then notice cameras and bite her lip. ''JESSICA VALENTINE'' They were shouting threw the window of the coffee shop. She hope they would get soaked because she didn't want to answer to them. She bite her lip and then kept writing and notice they had left.
She then notice a guy sitting by himself, she wonder who he was. She then realized it was Alexei, the guy who owned one of the art gallery here in France. She smiled because he was a nice guy because he had sold her a painting once. She hoped he would say hello but then again she knew that he was taken by whoever. She never stay up in the gossip. She laughed and just kept typing. She didn't know how the rest of the day was going to go but right now being able to finally write her script just made her smile.

A lot of people knew Alexei, well not as if they were great friends with him or knew much about him, but they recognised his face because of his gallery He was always in the gallery, working hard, cleaning paintings, making sure everything looked perfect for customers, some people always walked in, smiled when they saw him because they recognised him from him walking about quite a bit. Alexei was a local that people knew, he was just someone that was seen all around, some people could think he was a scary guy, some people thought he was a friendly guy, to be honest, he didn’t really care about what they thought about him. Sure there were moments when he would think that the reputation people in the town built up around him would ruin his career or shut down the gallery he had worked so hard to make rise out of the ground, but then he would calm himself down, why should he have to worry about them? At least a few people in the town thought that he was a nice person even if he didn’t speak all too much. Alexei was just the type of guy who didn’t speak much and that intrigued quite a few people in the town as well as repelled them quite a bit, because seriously, what twenty four year old man would stay in his gallery all quiet and alone? Alex was just that guy though.
Sighing, he leaned back in his chair, eyes still focused on the coffee as if it was going to save him from some sort of impending doom that was slowly creeping its way towards him. He liked Anouk, she liked him, everything seemed so easy and free between the both of them but they were always arguing, always finding something to dig each other’s graves with and it wasn’t doing them any good at all. Another sip of his coffee to diminish his thoughts, he took a look around the café and smiled when he saw someone he recognised. What was her name? The shouts from the outside of the window made him remember her name: Jessica Valentine. He knew her…didn’t he? From his gallery, that was it! The girl had bought a painting off of him, a Van Gogh to be exact. Draining the last dregs of his coffee, he got up, a sigh escaping from his mouth as he got ready to go and speak to her, he had to be polite right. Walking towards her, he offered her a smile when she did notice him. “Hey Jessica, mind if I sit with you?”

Jessica smiled up at him when he came over. ''Sure you can sit down'' She said. She started typing again and try to think what to say to him. ''How are you doing and how is your gallery doing'' She asked. She thought it would be nice to talk about him and how he was doing because she really didn't have much to talk about. She kept typing and notice she had a message and ignore it. She didn't want to answer because it was just rude to be talking to someone and answer a phone call, text or instant message. She put a smile back on her face.
She took a slip of her coffee and wonder what else they should talk about. ''This weather is so odd isn't it'' She said. She didn't know what else to talk about, she had the hardest time with small talk but no problems when she was up in a big room and talking to people. She just smiled and kept typing. She finished her last page and close her computer since she knew a conversation would most likely start. ''Sorry about that, i was working on a script since i want to start filming my second movie'' She said. She loved being a director and was excited to be in films. She kept the smile on her face and wonder what he was thinking about. She was happy to be talking with a friend. She wonder what else to say but this time she notice he was about to start talking so she let him speak.

Smiling as she told him that he could sit down, he pulled out his chair and sat down, his mind wishing that he had gotten his cup with him because he had nothing to do with his hands anymore except for leave them on the table top. “Thanks Jess. It’s doing well, selling a few bits here and there as usual but nothing major as of yet.” Smiling, he looked at the back of her laptop as she kept on typing. She was a writer, he knew that and she was good at it, at least that was what he heard from people. Alex never had the chance to see the things that she wrote and he never asked her because one day she could be writing personal things and that would mean he was intruding.
Alex was never good at conversation, whenever people wanted to speak to him they would have to start the topic and find something good to talk about because really, the only thing that Alex would probably be able to talk about for a lengthy period of time was art. “The weather is quite odd lately, rain and then sunshine, rain and then sunshine, but oh well, we in Paris pretty much get used to it after a while.” He flashed her a white bright smile and nodded his head at her as she finally closed her laptop and apologised. “It’s fine, that sounds great! What is this movie going to be about then?” Raising an eyebrow in curiosity, as he was truly interested in what she would do her story on, he leaned back a little in his seat. This was going to be a lengthy conversation it seemed.

''Your Welcome Alexei, that's good to hear you doing well at the gallery'' She said. She was always distracted when she had something on her brain and this time it was the script and she hated how rude she was being since it wasn't nice to ignore someone when you were trying to have a conversation. She smiled when he answer her question about the weather. ''The weather in Paris, reminds me of the weather in Seattle'' She said. She love traveling back from the states she enjoy traveling for her movies and looking at locations for her movies.
''The movie is the sequel to my first movie, the first movie was about high school sweethearts who come to Paris and they realize they don't love each other anymore and the boy cheats on the girl'' She said. The girl and boy break up and the girl hates that he is dating one of her best friends and she finds out that she is pregnant with his child, he doesn't find out till the end of the movies and at the end of the movie ends with wedding scene and now he was getting married to the girl's best friend and he told in his ear that the girl he used to love was pregnant with his child and we see him running away'' She said. ''I love cliffhangers like that but anyway, this is pretty much opens to the boy trying to find the girl and he finds out that she had moved to the states and she had there son and daughter in the states'' She said. ''Its just pretty much he wants her back and we see threw the whole movie that he just wants to be with her but since she is a mother she is very cautious about her choices'' She said.
Jess always enjoy talking about her movie and plays and what she did. Most people always wonder if she would ever write a book about all this adventures. ''Sorry about that, i can talk about my scripts and movies for hours'' She said. ''I was thinking about maybe looking for another painting, I love the paintings you have and i was hoping you wouldn't mind if i came by and looked'' She said. She love his gallery and honestly she thought he was good guy. She looked down at her phone and notice that Logan had text her and laughed. She just smiled and waited to hear his opinions.
