HISTORY, Kinley Arian Davi was born twenty years ago in Genoa, Italy. Her mother Anesia was accustomed to an arranged marriage and moved to Italy to marry Alanzo. One year later she gave birth to Giovanni and then Alessandro four years later. Kinley brought up the rear and was born last. The baby and the only girl of the family. You could only imagine how spoiled and protected she was growing up. Sometimes she still is. Her father was born into a family of chefs and continued to follow the business. Currently their family owns six restaurants in Italy. Kinley's two older brother were practically forced to follow their father's footsteps, spending full days in the kitchen learning how to cook, while she stayed home with mother and did 'womanly' things.
Kinley accepted her families life style but didn't want to be just a baby-bearer. In her teens, her parents started up conversation about an arranged marriage. They contemplated which men would be right for their daughter and who could offer them the most. The thought frightened Kinley and for years she begged them to do otherwise. She wasn't sure what had finally clicked but after dancing since she was a child, Kinley got her parents approval to attend the La lumineuse private academy. She wanted to study dance and was determined to prove her parents that she could accomplish her dreams. If not, wedding bells would be ringing.
Kinley is currently twenty-one years old and finishing her final year at the academy. She has been distant from her family because she is tired of being forced into customs she doesn't want to live by. The pressure is on to find a permanent career in dance after graduation, otherwise she is headed on a plane for Italy.
