Kaylee was new to the academy, so that just made everything worse. She met a few people but she really didn't make connections with any of them to well. She was shy, but she wasn't at the same time. She wished it was easy to make friends, but actually, it was quite hard. Her learning disability made everything hard for her. Everything from social interactions to learning. She tried to make the best of it, but it was still quite hard for her. She never knew why. She got distracted easily, and people always seemed to yell at her. She just took it. It was the normal thing now. Normal? She wondered what normal actually was.
Kaylee was wandering around the academy, but for some reason, she ended up in the schoolyard. It was winter, so it was quite chilly. She loved the winter, just not the colds that came along with it. She hated the cold, but she loved the hot chocolate, and warm food. She loved the snow, and she loved the frost-covered trees. They always made her think of dancing. The frost lightly dancing on the trees making music very softly to each other. Everything was so magical.
Kaylee smiled and cleared off a bench, and plopped her butt down on the cold bench. She shivered slightly. She should have worn warmer clothes, but that was her fault. She didn't except the school to be so chilly together. She wrapped her scarf closer around her neck to keep her warmer, but that didn't seem to help. She quickly took out her notebook, and opened into her class schedule. She had a busy day, and she worked at four after she was all down with classes. Geeze.
