have a horrible valentine's day

yup, it's that time of year! february, valentine's day to be specific. everyone knows that we have a few lovebirds scattered around the school, and being who i am... we're here to cast doubt on those seemingly happy relationships. there's no such thing as a happy ending, right? have a horrible valentine's day, la lumineuse!

we've already touched on these two more than once, but since cass and gareth have lasted so long, we might as well make a little update.

these two have been together for almost four months now, and haven't fallen apart, but we know that they're constantly arguing about something or another. that, plus the fact that gareth loved his little dead girl more than he ever loved cass, and how long do you think they'll actually last? it's the attack of the opposites, when you look at gareth and his inferiority complex and cass with his ego the size of jupiter! also, cass is well known for getting along a little too well with his exes... any bets on the exact date that they'll break up?

well, little miss artemis isn't clinging to deimos anymore, but it looks like he's found someone new to cling to. luke has just returned from australia, and obviously, the first person he sees is little missy here!

luke moved back to australia because of artemis being so clingy, that's a fact. what other reason would he have? but sadly for him, his younger brother forced him to come back and continue his schooling. it looks like luke is never going to be able to escape artemis, who can even be seen holding on to luke's arm while they're walking down the halls! a grudging couple for sure.

these two are practically married now, to be honest. it's not even a figure of speech, seeing as alexei and anouk are engaged.

how long is that going to last, though? anouk had her sights set on an older man for a while, and even though he moved back to spain when anouk and alexei announced their engagement, anouk obviously misses him. she was talking about leaving alexei, too. just upping and disappearing one day, with none of her stuff left in the house! she said that she wouldn't, but hey, who can believe a girl like her? if she leaves, we all know where she went...

it looks like fourth year dancer michael has his sights set on a famous model. more than his sights, really, he has little miss ila in the palm of his hand, and a baby in her belly! or so michael told me...

but the question is: is the kid really michael's? everyone in paris knows that ila had a boyfriend before michael came along, so it wouldn't be much of a surprise if the kid doesn't belong to mr. tattoos. what are they going to do if it doesn't belong to him? in fact, what are they going to do with this whole situation in general? ila's going to be gaining a little weight, and it's unlikely that she'll be hired as a model again once she's done with her break... no one wants a model that has to take care of a kid all the time!

miss to-be-headmistress heloise has power, and mr. bitter rebel simeon... doesn't. he's not exactly a good influence, either, but it's not like heloise was innocent in the first place.

they're an unlikely couple, and even more unlikely considering the fact that heloise's mother isn't going to take kindly to her daughter frolicking through the city with someone like simeon. of course, they'll be forced to break up eventually. there's honestly no way that they can stay together! if they were together in the first place, that is... sure, they spend a lot of time together, but it looks more like a two-way abusive relationship than anything remotely close to a normal and healthy romance.
