It was slightly just after less than a month of meeting him that Parker began to have feelings for Shinichi. Of course, the brown headed, eighteen-year-old boy didn’t believe in all this nonsense about liking a boy just less than a month but there was a charm that Shinichi had. One that seemed to gravitate Parker towards him by ease. It was just weird, they spent months together, ages together, practically every day when Parker wasn’t in the recording studio or working on his music or when Shinichi wasn’t focusing on his dance and academics. Parker had been getting sign language lessons from Shinichi and both were able to converse with each other quite a bit more than how it was at the beginning of their friendship.
It was just a few days ago when a blushing, pink in the face Parker managed to able to sign out that he liked Shinichi more than a friend and wanted to go on a date with him. Dating was supposed to be simple and easy, something that would be able to ensure that their relationship would be slightly more solid than how it was at the beginning. He wanted it to be more solid, he didn’t want to keep giving ‘friendship’ the label of their relationship, he wanted to put a little stamp on it that said ‘either in love’ or ‘working towards happiness’ or something just cheesy like that.
A few DVD’s were placed elegantly on his living room table, two drinks in glasses as well. He was wearing a fresh pair of jeans and a long, navy coloured jumper that clung to his body while he moved around fast, cleaning bits and bobs here and their of his own apartment while awaiting for Shinichi’s arrival. The idea of a first date struck him because he had never been on a first date before so he had no idea what to do or where to place the setting. Then finally the idea struck him, why not just a movie night? He made sure to get movies that he knew Shinichi knew off by heart just so that the boy wouldn’t have any difficult lip reading or seeing the fast subtitles.
He nearly jumped when he heard the doorbell ring, but he didn’t go to the door straightaway. Instead he ran to the mirror, quickly fixing himself up a little and propping his hair up slightly to make himself look more presentable than how he looked before. Sighing and placing a smile on his face, he awkwardly walked towards the door and opened it slowly. He then signed slowly and efficiently; "Hey, you had no trouble finding the place right?"

Shinichi Takato was one of the many people who went to La Lumineuse in Paris, France. But, he did not expect an outcome such as this when it came to falling in love. The older man smiled gently as he remembered the moment when Parker said that he liked the smaller Asian male. Shinichi blushed at the memory and got ready for the date the music student had planned for the two. The only thing that the dancer thought was strange was the familiarity of the address that he brown haired gentleman had given him. He looked at himself in the large mirror, seeing if his attire would be good. It was nothing too fancy, just a pair of jeans and a shirt that was much too large for him. Like always. But, this was a special occasion, wasn’t it.
He let out a frustrated sigh. The dancer had never been on an actual date before. Not with someone he cared about very much. Slowly, he ran his fingers through his black hair and went over to the couch to put on a pair of tennis shoes. The least he could do was at least act as if he was normal right? Even though he couldn’t hear, he was teaching Parker how to use sign language. This helped him greatly to understand the musician’s words. ‘He was so adorable that day. And every day before and after that.’ he thought with a soft smile upon his face.
Once he was finished, he walked to the door and opened it. Making sure it was locked; he then looked at the piece of paper with the address in his hand. Blinking, he smirked slightly and walked up to the door next to his and rang the doorbell. It took a few moments before Parker answered the door. Watching what the other male signed, Shinichi grinned and answered him with his own array of symbols with his fingers.
“Ironically enough, we are neighbors. I live here.” he responded as he slowly pointed to the door to the left of Parker’s.
Small world after all.

The word was just something foreign wasn’t it? But of course in Paris, how could love be a foreign word? It was what Paris was known for! The chocolate hearts, the fancy restaurants, the romantic Eiffel Tower that seemed to loom over all the couples and give them some hope…It was just love which seemed to make this city go round; or the parts of the city which Parker knew of at least. He was scared to call this love though; it was just their first date so all he could say for now was that he really cared about the older man in his life. The strength of the emotions that were running through his body and coursing through his veins for the older man was indeed very, very strong. It was as if another force was overpowering him and forcing him to expose what he truly felt. But he knew that if he tried to say everything, Shinichi might get scared and run away.
He wasn’t sure if he was meant to cook for the both of them or order takeout, so in the end he decided to just order a pizza and get them to deliver it around eight, once the both of them had settled in and were halfway through their first movie. He also had no idea what Shinichi liked on his pizza so he got a plain cheese and one with different toppings on each quarter just to make things more interesting.
Opening the door and watching Shinichi sign back, he let out a small-confused look. Shinichi lived next door to him? No…it couldn’t be true right? He didn’t think anyone actually lived in the apartment, it always seemed so quiet and when there was any noise it was always something soft and simple or something that Parker already knew, he just never interacted with hi neighbors that much to know who they were. Letting out a soft laugh, he shook his head and signed; ‘God…really? I am sorry to say but I never knew you lived there, otherwise we probably could have spent a lot more time together.’ Smiling, he shook his head once more, and moved out of the doorway so that Shinichi could enter. ‘Welcome to my apartment.” He sighed perfectly.
