Andrew stood in the studio, his green eyes wondering the walls. He was the only one in here and it was a good time to practice. He took a deep breath and adjusted the guitar strap that was on his shoulder. He then looked down at the black guitar in his hands. His right hand had a red guitar pick in it while his left hand held the bridge. At first he began to wonder what song he would play. He didn't have any of his own yet and would only practice that in his dorm where he knew no one else would hear it.
He then picked one out. He began to strum his guitar, the fingers on his left hand moving quickly to makes the notes come out right. It was familiar if you listened to the Chiodos. He was playing 'Bulls Make Money, Bears Make Money, and Pigs Get Slaughtered'. He had no idea what that title had to do with the song, but all of their titles were like that, completely unrelated to the songs. He took in a few breaths as the lyrics came to his mind. His voice carried out into the air. Thankfully, he knew that there were guys out in this world who sang with high voices. So he wasn't too worried about that. He wasn't the greatest singer in the world, but he wasn't the worst either.
He wasn't there for the singing part, though. Finally, his part came in. It was the screaming he wanted. He took in a deep breath and the screams came out, more from his lungs than from his throat. He wasn't sure if that was the proper way, but it worked, didn't it? He stopped sudden;y when he heard the door. He turned, green eyes staring towards the door. "Whose there?" he asked.

Alec had begun spending countless days in the music studio, his muse seemed to live there. Whenever he could not find the rhythm in one room it was almost always in the next, and today his muse was not far away. He heard a male voice fill the hallway with music from the Chiodos, a bad he was quite familiar with, yet the idea of using there music to dance to had not crossed his mind until he heard it at that moment.
Slowly Alec crossed the hall and stood near the door that the music was standing at the door frame hoping to not been seen or scare the young singer. Once he was asked to reveal his identity he turned around the door frame and waved to him.
"Hi, I'm Alec, a dancer, first year," he smiled shyly and hoped that he had not scared the boy too much. Alec was secretly happy that he had been caught, he had been anxious to meet a new friend. He was used to being alone, but Paris was a strange place, and here he was not as much of a fan of being alone.

Andrew narrowed his eyes as he saw a boy come in. He gave him a smile as he introduced himself and gave him a nod of hello. "I'm Andrew, a singer as you can see. I'm a first year too," he stated, holding out his hand for a hand shake. After he received one, he took a seat on a stool. "So you heard me singing? I mean I don't see why else you would come in here unless you came in to sing. Which I don't see as you're a dancer," he stated, giving him a friendly smile.
He adjusted his black shirt and let his feet hang down, the tip of his skater shoes touching the wooden floor. He strummed his guitar slowly, just letting the tune fill the air as the two guys talked. He didn't strum it loud, just enough for it to be heard. Might as well talk anyways, he didn't have any friends. He wasn't sure about this guy, but he really didn't know many people here. Of course, he had only been here for a week and kept mainly to himself.

"You can't dance without music," Alec said gesturing to the room itself. "I like to come here to collect my muse." He smiled pointing his toes together and running his right hand through his hair. Giving the boy another wide smile he hoped that he had just made a new friend finally.
He then returned his toes to their designated positions and smiled again in a swift and graceful manner. This boy was snappy, something that Alec not only respected in a person, he liked it. He always liked to hang out with people that could challenge his wit.

"Is that so?" Andrew asked, watching him. He laughed a little, not in a mean way. Just an interested and friendly one. He looked around the room too and then began moving some of the stuff around to make some room for the guy. "And you came to the room with the person playing the Chiodos, huh?If you ask me, its not much to dance to. I know a lot of song. Name a few artists and I'll see what I can do," he stated.
He moved back to the stool and sat down, this time resting his guitar a little on his legs. He moved his green eyes up expectantly, looking at the other boy with expectant eyes. He knew a lot of artists, mainly the ones that are more heard of in America.
((I'm sorry for the short posts.))

OOC: It's fine, no worries ^^.
IC: "As strange as it may seem, Chiodos was much better than anything else that was down this hall. Do you know Drop In The Ocean by Ron Pope," Alec smiled knowing he would most likely know this beautiful song. He then proceeded to stretch out. He had always loved this song and the excuse to do a lyrical dance was always welcome to dear Alec.
Once he was stretched out he hopped out from his stretched positions and smiled at Andrew, he was oddly excited about the idea of being able to dance, he was out in a dance school yet he had not found himself dancing very often, he was studying the 'history of dance' and learning new movements without even being able to execute them himself.

Andrew nodded. "Who doesn't know that song?" he asked. He looked down at his fingers as they began to strum the guitar. He breathed in and out for a moment until his took a deep breath and let out the lyrics, voice easily coming out of his throat. His green eyes moved from his guitar to watch the boy dance, voice still coming out. A smile appeared on his face and he got up. In the middle of the song he began to get into it. He closed his eyes, letting his voice fill the air around them.
Soon the song ended. He stopped strumming his guitar and waited a moment so that he could catch his breath. He looked up at Alec. "You're pretty good at dancing. Its great to put your talent to use instead of sitting in class all day," he stated, smiling. He moved his guitar a bit so he could get a bit more comfortable. "I've been sitting in classrooms all the time and when I get to my dorm I'm always studying and doing homework," he said, laughing a bit.

"You're pretty good at music yourself. And I know what you mean, I've been up to my ears in studies, we literally had a whole hour and a half class on the history of the mashed potato," he said demonstrating the motion as he spoke. "Apparently this was a major break through in the world of dance."
He stretched his arms out, "and I can only imagine what y'all musicians have to go through," he said letting his southern side slip out a little bit. Smiling widely he looked up at the boy excited to meet this new person, "we make a good team, y'know, Andrew."

Andrew nodded. "A good team, indeed," he stated, smiling. He then took off his guitar and set it on a guitar stand. "We had a full hour on how to tune," he stated, sighing and looking annoyed at the memory. He removed his beanie and then ran his hand through his hair. He put the beanie in his back pocket and then stretched. "I wonder if we'd ever have any classes together? That'd be interesting and rather fun," he stated, leaning against the wall.
He looked at his watch to see what time it was. It was only five. Not late and he wasn't all that hungry for dinner yet. He could stay here for a bit longer and hang out. Who knows, maybe this guy would end up becoming his friend. He hoped so, Alec was pretty cool and didn't judge him for his voice being a bit high for a guy's.

OOC: Sorry, I've been gone, my mom has been going crazy.
IC: "I hope so, that could be a fun adventure," Alec said leaping onto a nearby cabinet and spinning off with another long leap. "Say, what are you doing for the next," Alec said looking at his watch, "couple of hours." He had been so bored in France and now that he had a friend he was going to use it to his full advantage.
He stood straight up and straighten his back up and twisted his torso. Looking across the room he wondered what sort of trouble these two could get into.
