HISTORY, When Rosslynn Mary Newlanders was born, she had two siblings older than her by five years. Her father, Marcus, disliked her from the start since he was told he would be having another son. But, alas, he had a daughter which ruined his hopes and dreams. As Rosslynn grew older, her father often took his temper out on her, which scared her. The young girl disliked getting yelled at and would often run from the house and hide. Her older brothers, Damon and Duncan, tried their best to protect her from their father. But when they were at school, that was when all hell broke loose.
When Rosslynn was three years old, that's when her mother gave birth to Archer and Avis, her two younger siblings. It was thanks to them that her father began to ignore her. She was relieved at first, but then she began to feel upset due to not having her father's love. She felt like an outcast, but she knew what Marcus loved more than her, her mother, or her siblings. He loved music. So, when she turned five, she asked her older brothers to get her two things for Christmas. A piano and a guitar. The two agreed and got her the instruments, but there was a problem. She didn't know how to play.
It didn't matter to the girl, since she had heard about many artists learning on her own. So, everyday, she practiced and practiced in solitude until finally she was ready to play in front of her father. It was Christmas around that time. And she had recently turned eight years old. She had Damon and Duncan help her bring the piano she had asked for years ago, and after her father lit up the tree, she began to play Don Oche Ud I MBeithil, her father's favorite Christmas song.
She also sang it, which surprised her mother greatly. However, once finished, her father screamed at her and told her never to play that song again. This broke Rosslynn's heart. But, she would not give up. So, finally after much debate, once she reached her eighteenth birthday, she moved away from Scotland to Paris, France to attend the school there for music.
