---------------- PERSONALITY ---------------
LIKES, loud music. drawing. needles. men with tattoos. spiders. horror movies. sharpies. campfires. thunderstorms. the smell of new crayons. converse sneakers. spaghetti. lilies. movies in general. lemonade. lilac trees. green grass. french. australian shepherds.
DISLIKES, cities. chicken. history. getting caught in the rain. sitcoms. sugar cookies. history. black and white movies. people who assume she's a punk because she has tattoos. children.
FEARS, losing her ability to draw. cars. golden retrievers. never finding someone to care about.
PERSONALITY, Taya is, above all else, strong, not only physically but also mentally. She has had to put up with a lot of crap from her stepfather as well as a lot of her fellow students who see tattoos and think punk or, even worse, the adults who think criminal. In a world where strength is everything, she is at a surprising advantage that not many recognize. Sometimes she is too strong. As often results from a child that has had to grow up too quickly, Taya has adapted some defensive mechanisms, all of which result in stone cold indifference and biting sarcasm. It protects her emotionally and mentally, stopping anyone from breaking past her strength.
Although she is certainly not the most clever person in the school or the city, she is fairly intelligent. Taya picks up on things quick, but only when she finds a way those things will be helpful to her. Algebra? Might be helpful. Geometry? Never in a million years. It's why she chose to go to an art school, everything she learns here will actually be helpul later in life.
Taya is a very quiet person, something that might come as a shock considering how loud she plays her music. She has spent entire days wandering the city, never saying a word. Not only is she quiet vocally, but when it comes to movement she can walk halfway across a room without making a noise. She can be standing behind someone before they even realize she's walked into the room. Even when she's having arguments, she'll let it drop before she'll raise her voice. She's very set in her beliefs but she'd rather let it go than argue them.

---------------- HISTORY ---------------
FATHER, Jack Stone (deceased)
MOTHER, Emelia Johnson
OTHER FAMILY, Stepfather, Rick Johnson, and two twin step sisters, Marissa and Camilla, aged five and Cloe, aged eighteen
HISTORY, Taya Stone was born on the top level of a double decker bus in the middle of traffic in London. Her mother loves telling this story. Before he died, her father had the good sense to cringe for her whenever the story came up, even though he secretly found the story just as funny as her mother. Taya never appreciated the story the way they did. She was raised about two hours away from her birth place, in Stratford-upon-Avon. She loved the town. She loved the history, she loved the shops (especially Magic Alley) and she loved the cafes that lined the streets. She loved interacting with the tourists. Most of all, she loved that there were so many little nooks and crannies she could go to and draw. Even from a young age her skill with the pencil was impressive. Her parents tried to get her to go to an art school from a young age, but Taya refused until after her father died.
Her father died when she was fourteen. Her mother, who had always seemed a little distant from her father, remarried less than a year later. His name is Rick Johnson, and they had two kids together, Marissa and Camilla, plus a daughter he had from a previous marriage, Cloe. Taya hates her half siblings, hates her stepfather, and hasn't forgiven her mother for betraying her father by getting remarried. The art school came as an escape. At this point she already had a job in London as a tattoo artist, going to school was just a way to get away from her family. They're still in London, while she gets to live in Paris. This has a bad side effect in that she doesn't really try at school. She got a new job at a tattoo studio in Paris, and focuses more on her job than her education.
