Need someone to hate? Simeon has a major chip on his shoulder and just LOVES it when people find that out. He has fun watching people change around him as they become acquainted with him. He likes observing people in general, judging freely, and sharing his opinions on things. His direct and uninhibited manner of speaking tends to surprise people. Simeon is a self-proclaimed realist, but his world view is definitely pessimistic. He absolutely does not care what people think of him.

-Friends... probably not. He doesn't mind engaging conversation and people that break from the norm, but he abhors small-talk and the like. His friendships would be purely superficial, zero emotional involvement, and probably very one-sided.

-Enemies... he'd make an excellent scapegoat. Because he doesn't care. In his mind, being alone and generally disliked is normal and good. It translates to being independent and strong.

-Lovers... If he's in the mood, he will flirt and put on a charming face, but he isn't looking for anything long-term. He has a dysfunctional relationship in the making with Heloise Soucy.

-Profile-

Niko is the most loyal friend you could ask for. He wouldn't dream of betraying someone he cared for. He's a calm and steady guy, but a bit of a perfectionist. Sometimes his honesty is a little much for people to handle, but overall he isn't out to piss anyone off. He will stick up for you even if he thinks you're wrong and even if he isn't the most demonstrative person it's obvious to tell if he cares.

This is not a person you want for an enemy. Not a serious one, anyway. If he perceives a threat, he takes care of it. However, Niko is incredibly tolerant of minor annoyances, and actually getting in his bad books takes some effort.

He's too preoccupied most of the time to consider love, but he is still human. Niko keeps a low profile and won't take kindly to anyone that threatens that. He has a plausible back story that he is willing to share, but it's almost impossible to get him to open up with the truth of his life. He doesn't want to get anyone wrapped up in the mafia life, so he is wary of long-term relationships.

So, I can see the first impression Scar getting of Simeon is that he's an asshole, but she has fun with guys like that, even if he pushes her away and doesn't like her, she's going to be her annoying self because she loves to annoy people, especially people whom she thinks needs to be annoyed and in her boos Simeon definitely needs to be annoyed ^^ She'll find him wherever and whenever and try and get him to like her, even though she's going to be annoying. I can see a major sort of love/hate relationship here, with Scarlett doing most of the loving of course c: Trash/Modify/Subtract/Add?

He sounds like someone who will get along with her pretty well. This girl lives of making people's life miserable, well not so bad but actually she is quite of the bad bitch who just treats people like toys and servants and all her 'friendships' are just until she is done using you. So it sounds like she can find someone to plot along with her and maybe, only maybe, open a little bit to him.

I love it. ^^ Simeon will be insanely annoyed by her, but won't really know how to respond. Being randomly and incessantly annoyed doesn't really set off any of his triggers to be a jerk, because there's no bonding going on that he's aware of, thus no reason to deliberately alienate anyone. Although... if he catches on that she is supplying the love of a love/hate relationship then through some backward reasoning he'll feel obligated to make her hate him. He just... has to prove people wrong. If that doesn't work... he will be very impressed and confused. XD

Heloise--

Just want to say: she's awesome. Now, back to plots... Simeon is susceptible to manipulation because he's over-confident, and doesn't think that anyone can beat him at his own game. Depending on their interactions, he could develop a grudging respect for her, but he'd make a TERRIBLE friend. And he can't keep secrets. So... trust at your own risk. XD If she has a strong enough personality to put up with his shit, then they'd get along.

She is an very bad friend too, in fact she believes she is not capable of having a real friendship. She will have some interest in Simeo because he is just like her and she can take great advantage of that. I think both of them will have fun making fun of everyone around them and manipulating them lol

Haha, I don't think Scarlett will be capable of hating him when he tries to get her to because she's used to proving people wrong, i can see this maybe turning out to be some sort of competitive thing, where Scarlett will try to smother Simeon with love and show him that she's still going to annoy him and be there, while Simeon tries to get her to hate him. We should thread these two and see how it goes c:

They are a lot alike. There will probably be ongoing banter, and Simeon will enjoy the challenge of going up against someone so similar. He might end up turning against her as often as he agrees with her, just for the fun of unpredictability and annoying people. Especially if he starts to learn anything about her. I imagine she'll do the same from time to time? YES I LOVE IT.

Scarlett--

Aw! Yes, they need to thread. I don't know exactly how Simeon will respond, but if Scarlett is that tenacious it shouldn't matter. XD Good luck to Scarlett in finding redeeming qualities to love. He loves to write and lets his guard down the most when he's absorbed in his paper and pen, so maybe something along those lines for a thread starter? And Scarlett could have some rough prior knowledge of who he was so that she targets him?

Oh yes, more people to antagonize and be antagonized by! XD As soon as Simeon realizes how much she doesn't like him, he'll just target her further. He loves enemies, oddly enough, because they are fun fun fun and they make him feel invincible. He doesn't like to be messed with himself (who does?) but recovers quickly. I agree to the constantly at each other's throats thing; sounds just like him, haha. Simeon will draw amusement out of that as well. XD I can see him meeting her at some point when she's really not in the mood to deal with him and he'll be all, "MUAHAHA, DON'T CARE, NO MERCY." And she'll be all, "Ugh, what a dick." Then maybe the situation will be reversed in the future and he'll be all sullen and cranky because he'll KNOW he deserves some grief but.... Yeah, I don't know, I fail at plotting tonight, haha.

Marvelous. Simeon really doesn't know how to NOT push it too far, and it would be nice for him to experience some consequences for it. He will just take the entire revenge thing as further reason to not trust people and show your weaknesses, hypocritical as that sounds.

I can't decide how Simeon would respond to her. She's a professor but that wouldn't mean a lot to Simeon even if he is a student. His respect is hard to earn; you pretty much have to best him at something repeatedly and even then it would be grudging. She teaches photography so they wouldn't really interact on an academic level... Most likely he'd be neutral toward her on a good day and a complete ass on a bad day. So yes, not friends and not enemies. Oh, and he'd call her by her first name especially if it got on her nerves.
