Lynelle woke up feeling a bit sad and homesick. It wasn’t long since she had moved so it was natural she would feel like that. She didn’t have friends here at all but once again she never in her life had much friends. She was the kind of girl who kept everything to herself and never opened up to anyway, though loving and caring and always ready to help everyone around her she never allowed them to do the same for her. Beside she loved to be alone surrounded by her books and her sheets of paper, writing and researching and reading. She looked outside the window, a thin rain falling down from the sky which was a soft grey. It reminded her of her beloved London and that made her feel homesick. Sighing she grabbed her coat and decided to have breakfast outside today, she didn’t have any classes or plans for the day and maybe a good walk down the streets in the rain and cold autumn morning could help her cheer a bit. It was something she had always enjoyed and helped her. The cold greeted her and made her feel better; she turned right to go to her favorite coffee place and ordered a take away cappuccino with some pastries.
Another thing Lynelle loved was books and today she was feeling like hitting a book shop and buying some. Book shops were her favorite place, especially small ones who sold second-handed ones because they were calm and quiet and had a special smell on them. She always found some treasure there, a book worth buying and it was always cheaper than the crowded big ones. Not that she had something against them, it just that she preferred to love books for what they had inside not because how new and shiny they were and lately the shelves of those book shops were full of juvenile literature that was of no interest to her whatsoever. She needed something new to teach her students, something that will attract their attention even if it was a classic. She opened the door of the little book shop and waved the shop assistant hello while scanning the shelves for something good. She decided Wuthering Heights will be a good way to start the romance literature. Purchasing the book and sitting on a bench outside the store with her scarlet umbrella she started to read until someone called her attention.

Rain, rain, rain. The rain wasn't stopping today was it? Makayla peered out of her apartments window as she waited for Lily to put on her raincoat, and rain boots. The determined three year old refused to have any help, and as her mother watched her push buttons into the wrong holes she smiled as she knelt next to her darling little angel, and stroked her hair. Showing her the correct way to button the jacket, she took her little girls hand and grabbed an umbrella and they were off. It wasn't until half way down the road when she realized she probably should have brought a secondary outfit. Lily giggled with delight as she splashed through the puddles soaking everyone within the vicinity.
Scooping up the three year old, she balanced Lily on her hip as they walked down the street, the plan for today was to find a few more books for Lily to read so that she could continue to learn French. The young girl definitely seemed to have her mother's knack for languages, she's begun speaking both French and English when she spoke with her grandmother and her mother. And it touched Makayla's heart to hear her daughter speaking the language her father spoke, to bad she had yet to find him... she did need to, she wanted to talk to him.
Shaking her head, she resolved not to dwell on things like that. After all she had a day with Lily to enjoy. After books perhaps she'd take her little girl to a museum or some where fun. She wasn't sure what would be best for the little girl... as she thought about it... perhaps a museum wasn't the best. Setting Lily down in front of the shops door, she opened the door enjoying the warm air that surrounded her and the little dark haired angel as they entered. Taking her hand, Makayla lead Lily to the children's section of the second hand bookstore, and began browsing around.
These were the best books, beloved treasures, the books that had endured and were going to bring worlds of delight to children. Finding a couple she glanced up to check on her own little girl only to find she'd wandered off. Naturally, the child had her father's mischievous streak and her own sense of curiosity. Sighing, she gather up the books she'd found, and went to find her daughter, only to see her walk up a pretty lady about her own age, and tugged at her shorts, giggling in fascination. "Oh, Lily!! I'm so sorry mademoiselle! Lily stop bothering the nice lady."

Books had never failed to amuse her and teleport her to another world. They could make her live all the experiences she couldn’t have in her real life. Wuthering Heights absorbed her, Catherine had such a passionate love and she lead her life the way she wanted it, though she made a lot of bad decisions in the way and she was cruel and vicious. Second hand bookstores never failed her so far, she always found a treasure to get her hands into, the shop keeper was her friend as well as she the shop assistant she had in mornings so they always saved some interesting books for her. This time she had found a first edition of one of her favorite classic novels. Lynelle never understood why her students dreaded classic books so much, she had a really hard time getting them to read them even when she lured them with credits and the promise of an easy final project. You will believe being writer students they will have more respect or at least curiosity for other writers’ styles and books but they always proved her wrong. Sighing she smiled at the yellow pages of her battered book until a little hand tugged at her shorts.
Surprised, Lynelle turned her head to the site to see who was demanding her attention and found a little girl all dressed and ready for the weather, unlike her who was wearing a very spring outfit but that was compensated with a good coat. She smiled at the girl and was about to ask her what she wanted when she heard the worried voice of her mother. She raised her eyes with a smile, not bothered at all. “Lilly? That’s a nice name for a young lady like you.” She said talking to the girl. Lynelle loved kids, she had always wanted one of her own but of course that was difficult when she had no social whatsoever or ever had a date with someone. She had been very busy studying and being ignored during her younger years, no one had ever asked the ‘weird bookworm’ out. “It’s okay. She is not a bother at all.” She gracefully rose from her seat, closing her book and offering her hand to the woman. “I’m Lynelle.” Noticing the books on the woman’s hand a wide smile spread on her face and she turned to the little girl. “Will you show me what you have Lilly?” She couldn’t help it, kids and books were her weakness.

Running her fingers through thoroughly dampened waves of hair, and pushing the strands behind her ear, Makayla smiled politely at the woman. She seemed nice enough, and to genuinely like kids, since she was smiling at Lily and talking with her. Ruffling her daughters darker hair slightly, her smile grew warmer as Lily giggled at the woman's complement of her name, and tugged at her mother's pant leg, "She doesn' mind mommy."
Makayla sighed, her daughter was nearly four, but the concept of 'stranger danger' didn't seem to be setting in very well. She was a talkative young girl, who's speech patterns were developing fluidly, and her favorite questions were rapidly becoming 'why' and 'why not', those were moments she wished he was around to help, sometimes Lily could get demanding, and Makayla's job required a lot of work, so often she was tired when she got home and her daughter had questions about things she's learned, mostly in French, but Lily was catching on to the language quite well. "Still, you have to be careful Lily, not everyone is as nice as this lady is. Don't wander off next time." Lily pouted before nodding her consent, which Makayla had no doubt would be forgotten within ten minutes.
"Thanks, she has a knack for talking to strangers," awkwardly shifting the pile of books, she took the woman's offered hand and shook. "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, I'm Makayla, and you already met my daughter Lily. " Smiling with glee, Lily held up the book she'd located, one Makayla recognized as one they had in English back at the apartment, but not in French. Bonsoir Lune, an old favorite of her's from childhood, when the nanny had read it to her. "Mommy said we needed more books so I can learn to read in French as well as English, so I found this one, it's my favorite."
The little girl beamed in delight as the other woman included her in the conversation, she didn't like being left out, and with adults it did tend to happen. "We just moved here a while ago, she's adapting well to the language, it's good we made the move while she's still in her prime learning phases. But I thought it'd be good to practice more at home, especially now that she's learning to read," Makayla explained the situation to the young woman, since she figured it would probably make more sense that way.
OUTFIT, hereWORD COUNT, 453 NOTES, -sigh- I was feeling better and enjoying some peace and damned quiet, and then the 'annoying' one entered and turned on a billion lights, started talking loudly and eating so many chips and completely disrupted the silence -_- just as I finished this post actually -glowers at evil one-

Laughing softly Lynelle watched as the woman scolded the Lilly for talking to strangers and wandering on her own without consent. At those younger ages kids tended to be curious and they had no sense of danger whatsoever. They were innocent and they spoke their mind, it wasn’t until later they met concepts like lying, hiding, not trusting… It was a real pity that people couldn’t stay with what they learnt as kids and had to change into adults with all of the things that implied. She wouldn’t have minded enjoying more those carefree and innocent years of her past, unfortunately she couldn’t remember much of them as it was and well in her case things hadn’t turn out that bad. “They are full of energy and curiosity, aren’t they?” How long as it been since she had to deal with kids like Lilly? Lynelle could have chosen being a kindergarten teacher and most people told her she should, but other were of the opinion that dealing with adults was easier than dealing with kids. Actually she was afraid it wasn’t true, handling those young adults in a classroom for two hours could be really enervating. Most of them showed interested for what they learnt, but other just tended to fill space in the classroom without being really there.
“It’s only natural.” She answered the woman, who introduced herself as Makayla. “They still hadn’t learn sense of danger, they trust everyone.” If everyone saw the world with the eyes and heart of a kid… well, everything would be easier and nicer. The little girl was as cute as mother, and they both were obviously not locals, just as she wasn’t. Their names gave them away easily and also the accent and language. Lynelle had moved to Paris at the start of the term to teach writing skills at La Lumineuse. She had rejected a couple of good offers at universities in the USA like Yale and Brown, they were too far away from her taste and so her best offer had been coming here. She missed London but it wasn’t so hard to be apart from her hometown and her family. She smiled as Lilly showed her the book and approved of her choice. It was nice seeing a little kid showing interest for books. “Really? That sounds amazing Lilly. And do you like French?” It had been hard on her learning the language but since she had learnt greek she figured this one wasn’t going to be as bad. And surely she had been right, French was easier. Lynelle raised her eyes to Makayla as she confirmed her suspects and nodded. “I moved a while ago too. It’s a very good choice helping her learning the language; it will be easier for her.”

Makayla smiled a tired smile, as she nodded her agreement with the other woman, waves bobbing up and down as she did so, "Indeed, I would have never imagined how much energy a little girl could have." Her smile turned very fond as she gazed down at her precious little girl. She hoped he would appreciate the remarkable little being the two of them had created, sometimes she could nearly the whole day without feeling depressed or remembering that she was sick and could suddenly get worse at any given time. It was a good thing, a little part of him that had stayed with her through the worst and best of times, she had no idea what she'd have done without her daughter.
Shaking her head to rid herself of those sorts of thoughts, she placed the books she'd selected for Lily to look at on the table next to her, and rested a hand on her daughter's shoulder to prevent her from wandering off again as she chatted with Lynelle. "She can wear me out pretty quickly and still be full of energy and chatting away at a million miles, but she's my pride and joy, I love her to death." The last bit was punctuated by her leaning down and snuggling her daughter, kissing her on the cheek as the little one giggled and squirmed in her arms. Her daughter really was more of a blessing than anyone could realize, Lily was her light in the dark and the thing that had kept her firmly attached to the real world. And she liked to think she was doing pretty okay for a single mother who'd until she'd gotten pregnant, had never experienced the real word.
Looking up from her crouched position she nodded her agreement again as she spoke, "That's true, but it still doesn't stop me from worrying every time she disappears from my side and I find her chatting with someone. Call me paranoid, but she's my everything, and if anything happened to her... well it would be devastating." It was remarkable how quickly an unplanned surprise had taken over her life, gotten her to mature and become a young responsible adult, and become extremely beloved to her. Lily grinned at the woman spoke to her, and nodded, "Oui, j'adore française! My mommy has been teaching me to speak both as long as I can remember, she said it was impot... 'important that I learn'."
"I've been planning this move for a while, so I thought it would be good to expose her young, my grandmama lives here, and I managed to snag a job at the American Embassy here in France as a translator, so it worked out pretty well." Makayla rambled slightly, before realizing what she was saying and seizing, she hadn't had anyone her own age to chat with for a while, so it was understandable her nearly immediate ease and desire to chat. "Oh? You did as well? Do you mind if I ask where you came from?" It was rather easy to see where her daughter's sense of curiosity had come from when one actually spoke with her, she might not ask as man questions as her daughter, but she did like to find things out and learn new things, Makayla was rather glad that was the trait her daughter seemed to have inherit the most from her, curiosity was a good thing.

Lynelle had her moments in life, being a solitary kind of girl had brought her many pains and sadness but also a very quiet and calm life. She couldn’t complain, she had always been comfortable in her skin though she wished she could be a bit more open to the rest of the world. Even as a little girl she lacked of that courage that impulse kids to talk to everyone about everything. She had always remained away from the rest, she was an outcast and to be honest she had liked it that way. She didn’t have an adolescence full of friends, social events and parties, she much rather stay in the library absorbed in her own world. Her mother always tried for her to venture outside telling her it wasn’t good to waste all the time reading and writing; that she couldn’t hide forever behind her books. She ignored her mother’s advice of course, and so now when she looked back she couldn’t help but thinking if she had done something she could say ‘damn, I had a real good time, I enjoyed life’. There weren’t first crushes apart from the princes of the books she read, no proms, no parties…
All in all, Lynelle’s life was not exciting at all. “I am sure she is.” She envied her a little bit, she had something like that to love with all her life, she had done something with it and it had rewarded her that way. Smiling she nodded, she understood perfectly well what Makayla was talking about. Of course she will get paranoid when the little girl left her side, you never knew what was waiting for you out there, who could hurt her and who could be nice to her or if she was going to get lost, or cross a road without looking. There were a lot of things to take into account when you have a life in your charge and you had to be on the watch all the time for potential dangers. “I think it’s absolutely normal you worry about that things, you are a very good mother.” She smiled at the little girl, knowing children hated to be ignored; she really should have gone for the kindergarten thing instead of high schools or colleges. “And she is right, but it’s also important to have fun while learning right?”
It was interesting to say the least finding someone who had moved recently to Paris too, it was good to know she was not the only one going through that. “That sounds great. I received an invitation to teach here at la Lumineuse.” Makayla’s work seemed interesting, Lynelle had written a book about classic languages and she studied Greek and Latin. She was somehow interested in learning new languages and to be a translator you needed to learn at least a couple of them. She laughed softly when the woman asked her where she came from, she didn’t mind at all to be questioned; it was actually nice to have a chat with someone apart from the students at school and the teachers. “I’m from London, what about you?” She turned to Lilly and smiled at the girl too. “Do you like it here Lilly?” Some kids had problems adapting to changes but she seemed happy enough with the French lessons and the turn her life had taken, or maybe she was so young she still didn’t have a clue about what was really going on and didn’t care at all as long as she felt happy.

Makayla smiled warmly, a while ago the thought of having children would have never even occurred to her. In fact finding out that she was pregnant had been an utterly terrifying moment, she'd found out after he'd left, after she'd been diagnosed as ill... it had taken a lot of thinking, of panicking, of going to friends and family and having them abandon her before realizing she had no one she could count on. Then she'd made up her mind, she'd have the baby, she'd take care of her, she'd put the man she loved and her child over her own health. And it had been utterly worth it, her risk levels had increased exponentially during the pregnancy, but holding her baby girl in her hands had dragged her out of the depression she'd felt. It had been remarkable, it had been revitalizing, and she'd never regret it. "She's become the thing I live for."
No one else had any idea how true that statement was, without her little girl, she'd probably have just allowed herself to fade away into obscurity, but instead she'd fought for her life. Makayla still had her moments but now all she had to do was look at that brightly smiling child and she was reassured that things would be okay. "Thank you, I just wish she would understand... but she's still young, it's difficult at times to be on your own with a child..." Soon enough she'd find her baby girl's dad again, and perhaps at the very least he'd have an interest in the child. At worst he'd be married and already have kids and want nothing to do with them. He'd always been a charming man filled with potential, and there was no doubt he'd lived up to it. Lily grinned gleefully, tugging on her mother's hand, "Yes ma'am, it's lotsa fun.", her daughter had a passion for learning and knack for picking up on things quickly.
"Oh!! You are a teacher! How wonderous! You must have such a lovely time teaching, it sounds like an amazing time teaching at such a prestigious school." Her grandmother had spoken about that school very highly and already hoped to send her grand daughter there some day. And it seemed Lily had promising talent as a singer or a dancer, she already enjoyed singing and dancing, and was begging for ballet lessons. "London? Wow, I'm just a California girl, the weather changes are definitely taking some getting used too." Lily nodded, eager to remain a part of the conversation, "It's so pretty here, I like it a lot."

Weirdo; that was the way her classmates called her all through school and even high school. No guy would ever ask her out unless it was a bet, no guy would ever talk to her unless it was to humiliate her… she hadn’t been ugly, it was just the way she separated from the rest of the world, how she preferred to stay home reading a Friday night than going to a party and get drunk. Now she wasn’t sure it had been such a good idea, sure she had her dream job and was doing well in her life but… did she really enjoyed her younger years? Was she ever going to enjoy life properly? Could she say she was really alive? It was useless though, complaining and moaning for the time lost and that won’t ever be back, what she did was done and now there was no way back. Lynelle was a very practical girl, she had her books to dream but when it came to the real thing she was quite down to earth. If she had a problem she wouldn’t go crying and complaining about it, she will find a way of fixing it, and if it couldn’t be fixed then why complaining? It wasn’t going to make it all better.
It was a nice feeling being able to talk to someone of her age ratio, she never had much friends and it was now that she was in Paris when she was starting to open a bit a bit more and talking to strangers. Lynelle looked at Makayla as the woman talked proudly of her little girl and smiled warmly at both of them; it was great seeing she loved her girl so much. She frowned as the mention of being a single mom, not because it was something bad but because she couldn’t imagine how Makayla should had suffered going through all that alone. “I am sorry.” It was all she said, she had no idea what more to say really. She always wanted to be single mom though; it was awkward for her to imagine a man around her sharing her space, maybe because she never had it. She never had something even close to a boyfriend though of course she wasn’t a total inept about boys, she was a nice cute girl and more than one had approached her as she grew up.
Lynelle wasn’t that kind of woman who will gossip and stick her nose in matters who didn’t concern her at all so she didn’t ask further in the topic, if she wanted to say it then she would listen but she wasn’t going to force it out of her. Lilly happily answered her and Lynelle laughed, that girl was just a tiny bounce of energy. “That is good! So you are going to daycare here in Paris now?” She asked the little girl. She didn’t have a problem talking to kids; most people found them annoying and ignore them through conversations but she though they were cute and they always had something interesting to say, kids view of the world was totally different from adult, it was exciting full of bright colors and it was honest. She slightly laughed at Makayla’s comment, she didn’t think being a teacher was so great at least from the outside point of view, everyone said the same, that it was boring and tedious and dealing with young adult was hard. “It certainly is amazing and I do enjoy my work a lot but I don’t think my students will share your opinion.” She laughed and looked again at Lilly. “So you don’t miss the warm weather Lilly?”

Looking at the other woman Makayla idly wondered about her, it seemed she and the other woman were rather similar in many aspects. A few years back she probably would have never spoken to someone like Lynelle or the person she'd become, she'd allowed herself to be air headed and consumed with her image, but it was the kind of family she'd grown up with and the kind of people she'd always known. The 90210 crowd, and it had seemed like the kind of life to live, up until she'd gotten sick, and pregnant and then everyone had just turned on her like that. And she'd been awaken to reality, it hadn't been pleasant, but she was grateful for it. Grateful to have become someone independent who could manage for herself, and that was more then she could say for most of the girls she'd grown up with, including her own mother, which was surprising now that she'd met her grandmother, who was a capable and powerful woman.
Makayla gave a half smile, she didn't like dwelling on her mistakes too much, especially not around Lily. The little girl was a sharp young thing and could always tell when her mother wasn't feeling up to par. There were moments where she'd be having a terrible day and Lily would just come up and hug her mother, and to be honest, Makayla would feel a lot better, except those days were she would sit and try and figure out how she was going to talk to Dimitri, what she was going to say... She'd figured out where he worked, it wasn't that hard to locate a lawyer in this modern day and age but... she hadn't worked up the courage to actually speak to him. The thought of going up to him was terrifying... "It's nothing to apologize for, it came along by my own doing." She had pushed Dimitri away, and had never tried to contact him, but then again... he hadn't tried to contact her either. Nope. She wouldn't do this to herself again. Not now, now she was enjoying herself.
Makayla smiled as Lily chatted with the woman, she seemed to be getting along with the older woman well. "Yes, Grandmama is sending me to a pretty school, and it's soo much fun! I'm makin' lotsa friends there too. " And it was true, Makayla had noticed her daughter had a knack for socializing with the other kids, a little social butterfly, she'd already made a ton more friends then Makayla had made in this city. "Well, I think it's a pretty cool job, if it weren't for my teachers I probably would never have turned into the person I am today. I get to deal with people in businesses and ambassadors who don't speak languages well and argue back and forth a lot. It's amusing at times, and aggravating a lot of the time." Lily clasped her hands together, "I don't really miss it, its prettier here."

She couldn’t imagine a life without her mother and father. Much less her childhood since Lynelle came from a very loving and supporting family. The fact that Makayla had to go through that completely alone was heartbreaking and terrifying, but so far the girl seemed happy enough with her kid and her life right now but she was sure it would have been very hard on her, especially during the pregnant months. Lynelle was a very weak person or so she believed; she had always been very protected and loved and even though she suffered the cruel comments and jokes of her classmates a good book could always heal the pain and it wasn’t so bad. If she had gone through all that… and by herself… well she didn’t know where it would have gotten, she couldn’t tell how she would react if she ever saw herself in such a situation and that made the other woman more especial. She could sense there was more into it than the simple words of the woman but she won’t pressure her into telling. Lynelle wasn’t one of gossiping and it was easy to see the topic was a painful and a hard one.
“Well you seem happy here in Paris, though you just arrived.” Lynelle laughed softly trying to drop the topic so the girl wouldn’t feel force into telling about things she wanted to keep hide. She turned to Lilly and laughed at her enthusiasm, the girl was obviously happy in the town and she seemed to be a curious little social butterfly, Lynelle was sure she was going to have a wonderful childhood. “Aw really? That is fantastic! You are making lots of new friends too?” It was good knowing someone appreciated the work you were doing; unfortunately kids only did years later when they became mature and understood what they had gone through was for the future. They could be hard to handle, they could be tedious to work with and thick headed but she loved what she did and enjoyed it very much. “They never think of that when they are sitting in those chairs, and it’s not as if I could blame them.” She had been on the other side after all and Lynelle knew that you weren’t always in the mood to listen. “I was a bookworm back then and even I had a hard time paying attention sometimes.”
Paris was indeed a very beautiful city, it was different from London in a lot of ways but she didn’t miss her city as much, though it got lonely sometimes, it was always full of couples around, some on their honeymoons and Lynelle wished she knew how that felt. “I am glad you like it. Did you go to Disneyland already?” It was the most famous theme park around the world and everyone who went always loved it. She hadn’t had the chance to go yet but what was the point of going alone anyway?

It was satisfying to converse with someone and simply chat, Makayla hadn't done that with someone her own age range in a long while. She was either with Lily, her grandmother or talking business. Though ... she supposed that was her own fault since she allowed herself to become engrossed with work far too easily, and the spare time she had was completely dedicated to her gorgeous baby girl. It was rather relaxing, chatting with Lynelle in the bookstore. She did appreciate that Lynelle included her daughter, because if she hadn't Lily would have likely become very pouty very quickly, and if there was one weakness Makayla had, it was that she gave into those bright young eyes of her daughters with ease... probably because they reminded her of her love's eyes, and he'd had no problems manipulating her either. Not that he did.
"I am happy here, I mean don't get me wrong, I miss Califonia, but I've got a lot of memories there, and few are particularly good ones. I rather relish the opportunity to make new memories, and friends here." And that was true, she was more than a little happy to be here, and she'd be even happier once she talked to him and confessed the lies and things she'd kept hidden from him. "Lots of friends, lots and lots of them." Lily spoke enthusiastically, obviously excited about the prospect. Makayla nodded her agreement, she hadn't appreciated the things her teacher had said in high school, like when they'd told her she was bright and shouldn't pretend to be an idiot just because her friends were like that. "I was the opposite of that, the social butterfly and queen of the popular crew. But luckily I grew up from that, and realized that most of that life style was fake and full of lies."
Makayla shook her head, she hadn't taken her little girl to Disneyland yet, it cost a little more than she could spare at the current moment in times, and her little girl was young, and had some time until she was too old for such a place, if one could ever be too old. "I've been hoping to wait until we could go as a family to disneyland, besides I dont exactly have the money to spare at this moment in time." Here she sighed, being a single mother was hard, and she refused the charity her grandmother kept offering, she wanted to be able to provide for her daughter on her own.

If Lynelle would have been comfortable back in her hometown she would have probably stayed. Not that she had the hard life back there or memories to forget like most people did when they moved to another country. No, Lynelle just thought she needed a change of air and that it was time for her to make some life of her own outside her parents wings. She had her own house in London but her mother lived not far from it and visited her every day, she kept being a loner so she didn’t have friends back there and she had no memories whatsoever. It was time for her to change a bit and break through her shyness, to have memories, friends and learn to enjoy life, because life was not all about books and though she loved living the stories in her head it wasn’t real, and she was breathing and talking, she needed to actually live. She missed home, Lynelle was very close to her family but this was better than she had expected. “That’s great. I came here to make some friends and actually try to enjoy life a bit more.” Something she had been doing through books but soon it wasn’t enough.
Her life was all based on books; her romances only happening in her head so when she was offered the job she didn’t even think about it, it was a great new adventure for her, a chance to do something different. “So you are happy with them Lilly? And what games do you play at daycare with your friends?” Being a teacher was difficult enough though, dealing with young immature adults was hell sometimes, especially when they slacked off and tried to walk over you because you were a nice teacher. She didn’t allow them to do so though, she knew how to be strict when necessary, being with kids was much easier, they could be noisy and full of energy but they were definitely easier to deal with and you could also distract them. “I would have liked that honestly. I was a loner, even a bit of faked life would have been better than mine.” She would have welcomed the lies just to not be the kid everyone made fun of for being smart and like different things, but to be honest Lynelle never really liked the popular life style at all, Makayla was right, it was full of lies and she wanted something real, someone she could really trust.
“I hadn’t been there either, going alone would be a pity.” It was one dreams of her; she had a childish side on her but who didn’t really? Even the most cold hearted person in the world would love to spend at least a day in a place that made you feel magic was real and everything was possible. And if you had kids then watching the illusion in their faces should be the most wonderful prize in the world for the effort made along the time. Lynelle didn’t have kids and she was sure she never will, seeing her luck she would end up being a crazy cat woman, alone in her apartment forever.
